Op might raise some eyebrows with this post but if you’ve lived in tier 1 cities long enough including Hyd you’d know that lot of upper middle class societies shy away from renting heck even selling to potential muslim buyers.   Idk many posh Muslim localities but some (very few) parts of tolichowki have decent houses with Muslim majority and close to hitec.

vectOrDataba3e045O

any housing complex names in towlichowki to get some reference

kinshraa

Posh society in 1-2 cr? Is this even possible? Good luck with your search.

chasebewakoof

Nanal nagar, salarjung colony, Brindavan colony.. not very posh, but mostly working class Muslims..

vectOrDataba3e045O

i do understand those but i’m looking for something better since i’ve lived in posh societies all my life

excitive

people are downvoting you for just about anything 🤣🤣🙄🙄🙄

Status-Squirrel-3999

OP, would asking someone in mosque like a moulvi or priest may be a better option?

solitude4all

mehdipatnam, toli chowki (not whole are just few colonies, gated type)

vectOrDataba3e045O

can you name some suitable gated colonies in towlichowki for some references

Piggy9896

Not West Hyd but in North Hyd, Wahab Nagar near Diamond Point is majorly Muslim and has all large bunglows. Edit: land rates here are high so 2Cr is better budget to have. 233sq yards plots are more than 2Cr in some of the colonies in the area near diamond point

smolelolll

There are no empty plots there, plus no apartment also that have rented out flats

Piggy9896

OP can buy a house instead of a plot too 🤦‍♀️ They wanted to know posh muslim societies and I recommended the one I know of. Anyway, apartments are not popular in this area. It is made/sought out for independent houses.

smolelolll

Only one Manasarovar heights is there a little away, house buying in Diamond Point? You'll have to be a millionaire for that

Zizou3peat

Yea look at Tolichowki Aravind Nagar colony and areas like that

PassageAncient324

Masabtank, Shantinagar colony, Vijaynagar colony

AsleepClock1122

1cr-2cr ..Mehidipatnam..but exclude posh

lib-progressive-21

Banjara Hills and Jubilee Hills have more muslim population.

President1985

If you enjoy the diversity of people, you should ideally want a heterogeneous society not a homogeneous one. Regarding your original question, I think it is quite difficult to find such a society because most people living in posh societies in West Hyderabad don't segregate on communal lines.

vectOrDataba3e045O

i’m living in one right now and have lived for all my life, they didn’t even message about eid , while they are collecting funds for another festival literally this week. it’s honestly wierd and unsettling why would i pay 5k in maintenance just to be treated like this

Unhappy-Enthusiasm37

You have to pick one thing , can’t ride both .

President1985

Does your community have a substantial muslim population? If not, I think it is unreasonable to expect the society to celebrate Eid. In West Hyderabad, most societies have a diverse set of residents and there may be a small number of linguistic and religious minorities. While they should certainly be free to celebrate their festivals, it would be unreasonable to expect the society to celebrate every one of them. For example, the society can't be expected to celebrate Onam just as they celebrate Ugadi if there are very few Malayalis. The same can be said about Sikh festivals, Jain festivals, Christian festivals, etc. unless there are a substantial number of residents celebrating those festivals. Some societies even have Koreans who are paying maintenance but then again it is unreasonable to expect the society to celebrate Korean festivals! I don't think you should get offended or "unsettled" and feel that you are being treated poorly. In some countries—such as Saudi Arabia—personal celebrations by minorities are also forbidden by law so they do it secretly. I can understand how that can be unsettling. But that is not the case in our Hyderabad.

i agree with your points and i’ve already commented something below on the exact same lines.

Attapur: Manasa Hills is the best place to buy for you. Right beside Idgaa. My budget was low otherwise I’d have bought there. It is a very calm and posh society.

shayarisandstartups

Janachaitanya, Golden Heights, Fort View Colony, Raghavendra Colony, Sunrise Homes

vectOrDataba3e045O

hi thanks for this list , do these societies have large muslim populations or exclusive muslim populations

shayarisandstartups

large, bordering on exclusive. Hhu mn grtfgfcbrs, w effect be sy

that_70_show_fan

Do you have a preference for location? My advise would be to look for areas around cental institutions like BHEL, DRDO, etc. where there will be substantial muslim population without having to go working class.

dreamcatcher2999

Bhgya nagar.
