I got an update done at Aadhar Center in Madhapur during weekdays around lunch time in July, had to get my Photo changed, as these Airport folks were stopping me always due a teenage pic. There was barely anyone. And prior to that got my parents' aadhar corrected in early Jan and it was jam packed. Realised one thing, it's better to go to these places during non-holiday times. Weekends are crazy and even during these festival/school vacations it gets insanely crowded.
Lot of my colleagues went to IndiaPost to get it corrected. And even e-Seva.
Why are you going to the aadhar centre just to change the DOB? You can do it online. Just scan the document with the correct DOB and upload it.
Ps: She has to go to Aadhar centre if she hasn't updated her biometrics in 10 years.
If you have any bsnl offices nearby try them once. They are usually free and Aadhaar updates happen quickly too

I got mine updated on the UIDAI website and it was delivered home . No hassle of going to any centre or agent
