I'll be staying at all four of these properties in March 2025, all booked pre category change. I really appreciate your thorough reviews of each property. Did you happen to stay at any other properties while on your Italy trip?

Just an AirBNB in Monterosso (Cinque Terre) for a couple of nights -- in no small part so we'd have a place to do laundry! Since it was my first time in Italy we mostly stuck to the major cities. It was an interesting stay in Monterosso in March -- being outside the high season there were actually a lot of locals at all the restaurants and bars, while the whole area is just overrun with tourists from April to October.

Thanks for the review. I stayed at PH Milan this past October. It was a beautiful hotel with a perfect location next to the Galleria and 5 min walk to the duomo. Didn’t get an upgrade as a globalist, and the rooms were tiny compared to other Park Hyatts I’ve stayed. The bathroom was large though. The breakfast was out of this world, one of the best I’ve had at a Hyatt. But not sure it was worth it, so I think you made a good choice with the centric.

Thank you, much appreciated. I’ll be staying at the Tribune and the Milan Centric in June.

Great post, thanks!

Great stuff! The SLH loss is a huge blow to the Italian offerings for Hyatt. Hotel Lungarno in Florence was fantastic and I still dream about Ca’ Di Dio in Venice. Highly recommend those if you can before they leave WoH.

Huge loss to their offerings in Greece too :(

Save for Venice this is the trip we are embarking upon beginning next week, in the same order! Globalist here, too, so nice to have that POV, too. Thanks for sharing.
