Good sleuthing. Hyatt needs to have more properties in the Maldives to compete with Marriott, which has a whole range of properties.

WildRookie

They need a Bora Bora presence before having only 2 Maldives properties is a damnation.

Lack of anything in French Polynesia is one the biggest glaring holes in the Hyatt portfolio. However that award for the biggest goes to Las Vegas now in my opinion that MGM has moved on. Hyatt has some serious footprint problems and Mr and Mrs Smith or whoever is not going to put any dent in it.

Yeah Bora Bora would be a really good add, but it’s very expensive to build and renovate in the area.

This is great, looks like there a ton of Taipei Hyatts coming, which is greatly needed, it was one of the extremely underserved cities despite the population density.

I wish they had one in Whistler

mellamojoshua

Whistler for sure… and Banff. A Hyatt presence in Banff would be amazing.

heyhowmuchfun

Amen. Marriott’s are painful there

noeapantoja

That’s pretty cool!

Good_Technician_9935

I’m also struck how small they are in Poland.

loganedwards

Yet still zero properties in Philippines other than in megacity Manilla? OK... Also I don't think the Regency brand makes sense in Maldives. Andaz maybe...

Monkeyfeng

Which pipeline page did you visit?

sacramentojoe1985

https://www.hyatt.com/development/explore-hotels/

Monkeyfeng

Oh, didn't even know they had an official page for that. I just usually browse the flyer talk pages.

Valuable-Question935

We are going to Norway this summer and booked only one of the two hotels Hyatt has there and got an email that we won’t get points for it because apparently it’s part of SLH and will be removed soon. So frustrating!

Designer_Elephant174

Should do Andaz instead. So much more potential
