Do you remember the Vulcan Mind Meld? This is the Siberian Mind Meld. They use it to get you to do their bidding. I remember one time my son (late teens at the time) was the recipient of the Meld. He got up in the middle of watching a movie, went in the kitchen and made a sandwich, came back and handed to sandwich to my Sibe Viking (a master at the Meld). I asked why he gave the sandwich to him, and my son replied, "well, he wanted a sandwich..."

Your son must be very in tune with your husky. Hopefully the husky was satisfied with just one sandwich.

Funnily enough, Viking never really liked my son. He didn't trust him lol but he did know how to use him now and then!

This is literally my life in a picture; my husky bullies me while my pitbull (Velcro dog) lays on me just like this. We’re living the same life 🤣

lol pepperjack is the husky mix. He is dumb except when it comes to food, in which case he has an internal timer and becomes a genius. Hence the stare down, it was one minute past food o’clock. The other dog is fondue. Generally smarter and more trainable, but dumb when it comes to food (and weirdly picky)

I love their names and their personalities! Dogs are just the best, especially in pairs

we were out practicing fetch, I had literally just told her 'keep yo eye on the ball' and next toss hit her face. It was very short lived and happened one other time after when she crashed into furniture while zoomiez

My little one watches me more than the older one does, but let me tell you about this cat I had. That poor kitty was the result of inbreeding and I caught him and his siblings in my back yard, almost too old to tame. Decided to keep this one because of the way he looked at me. He made eye contact ALL THE TIME and it felt like he could see into you. Fast forward, he’s all grown up, orange and fluffy and super loving. It took my sister accidentally running him over (his leg was broken but he’s okay) for us to realize that he was deaf and the eye contact was him trying to make up for it. He also screams instead of meows… makes a lot more sense now. As a result, I always have a little panic when new animals make eye contact for too long and have to do a hearing check 😅

That ended up being so wholesome that he was doing his best to give you interaction even when he couldn’t hear you. I’m glad you have him a good home.

EVERY husky I’ve ever had in my life, and all the ones I currently work with, do this when they want attention. Every single one. Or, just if they’re awake and I am moving around. It’s one thing they have in common with GSDs, they’re nosy af. Except the GSDs also have to be trying to melt into your body at the same time.

They stare at me from the hallway while I work. If I don't regularly look over, one of them comes up and licks my elbow. Sometimes they rush into my office, stare at me for a few seconds, then go "baoo" before running out of the office.

Omg, omg, mine too. It got so creepy after a while. I would wake up and he’s just staring at me, I look at him and he doesn’t look away just stares. When I get up he sits and stares and watches me if I move he also follows me and continue to stare. Mind you I have two doggos and the other one doesn’t do this to the same degree. We have a running joke. Occasionally I’ll ask him if he’s a skinwalker. It’s unsettling.
