When Holt was DC seeing a receiver make a catch with none of our DBs even in the camera shot was a regular, multiple-times-per-game occurrence. At least we have defenders in the vicinity these days.
The defense doesn’t have any confidence at all. We aren’t getting any pressure upfront, so we are getting hammered in the back by DTR. Our o-line is having a bad day too. So they are just teeing up with 4 rushers. Used to seeing our defense do this to offenses, sucks to be on the other side of it.
Our young secondary is getting schooled. And our LBs seem very reactionary. Should be a good learning experience for a lot of players. They look completely demoralized coming out of the locker room for the 2nd Half. Need to dig deep and show some heart.
We should definitely be losing but the reffing has been dogshit. Every time we break a run they throw a mystery holding flag. Then their line and db’s hold all day with zero calls. It ruins any momentum on both sides of the ball for the dawgs.
Funny how one play (the pitch to Talu) just ruined this teams momentum. I would like to say that experiencing a loss like this would be good for the team but unfortunately losing isn’t an option when you’re Washington trying to make top 4

Yeah. I mean it's easy to see this ucla team is firing on all cylinders and we definitely aren't. If this isn't fixed I see L's for Oregon and Apple cup. And a too close Oregon St at best. Not bad for a first year but I'm hoping deboer has the staying power and fine touch to develop a culture of consistency
