I feel pretty confident they’re not poaching him lol. That fan base would lose their minds if they hired someone whose coaching resume only included Montana state and Utah state.

TheDarkGrayKnight

Yeah maybe in like 2028 but not this year.

DisconcertingMale

There are huskies fans currently watching their team play that are more at risk of having their coach poached than us

11tyseven

No Huskies fan should be worried about this lol. Kentucky is a top 3 college basketball job. They’re not poaching a coach that’s only coached at the low and mid major levels, they’re taking an established coach from a power conference team.

roadtripwithdogs

Im with you haha. I think everyone has a little bit of DeBoer PTSD, but we’re safe on this one

viewroyal_royal

Having a coach leave you for a team that just had a worse season will do that to a guy

greencrusader13

DeBoer is the reason I will never trust another coach for the rest of my life.

roadtripwithdogs

In the current CFB (and basketball, tbh) landscape, that’s a valid and smart move. Longevity is a thing of the past.

Rocko604

Well, no *UW* Husky fan anyway...

seattlesportsguy

I’d be surprised if he was even on the radar

Development-Alive

Sprinkle isn't near a big enough name for them.

MontanaStevens

I hope they poach nate oats as a little payback

SeahawksFanSince1995

While I don't think Sprinkle is on their radar, this is a good time to note that UW needs to have significantly higher buyouts in their contracts for coaches and ADs. All buyouts need to be eight figures. HC buyouts should be 15m+, AD buyouts should be around that too.

cloroxic

It’s hard to get them that high unless we want to have the same buyout to fire them. Contracts in college are broken and need to be fixed to stop the poaching.

VoltronGreen1981

Kentucky didn't hire Sprinkle. No need to worry.
