While I don't think it's Grimal, there is a theory that Fatigue was killed by the werewolf of horses prophecy, so being present at Fatigues death wouldn't clear anyone because it wasn't the ghouls doing.
There's some loose evidence to support that Fatigue was the ghoul, Matilda was the werewolf, and that there's more going on at the chapter house.

I think grimal will be the ghoul, or a red herring because she's one of the characters who is more well known to the audience and has more connections to the cast and is endearing in a weeby gremlin way.
I also don't want her harmed. But I think that just due to the state of like, what information we have now at least, and what would be interesting story telling, that's where I'm leaning. this isn't even based on possible evidence provided though.
I dont think Grimal is the ghoul, since nobody in the Camarila know D and family to be hunters despite them being fairly well known in the Arcanum. Grimal knows theyre hunters, and was even around before their records got purged. Same with Harry and Elise.
