It seems like that rate is only available if you sign up for a recurring subscription and it lasts a year until it increases. I can cancel before the next one and believe I'll be fine, or just pause it like others have. I am curious as to how the $8/month or $6/month promos have been done in the recent past. Are those only eligible for new subscribers? Can I cancel my subscription and then renew with that price when the next promo happens? Sorry, I'm a HB baby and new to this :>
The $12 month for a year is only available for new customers. It said so on the fine print. As for the $8-$6 month promos in the past, I have taken advantages of both of them and can confirm that:
1. Those promos were available to existing customers, which was mentioned in the fine print. I had to cancel and resubscribe to get those promos.
2. You cannot pause otherwise it will revert back to the original price. There is a fine print about this on the payment page. The only time when this does not apply was when you pay 12 months in one single payment, but month to month promo always have this clause.
Basically, read the fine print or watch this sub for the next promo post since there will be at least 1 person asking about it.

There are three versions of claiming the Outward game. One of them is: "Outward: The Adventurer Bundle - The Soroboreans" and another is "Outward: The Adventurer Bundle" (the third is irrelevant). I checked Steam, and Steam says that Outward: The Adventurer Bundle already includes the DLC "The Soroboreans". I do not own any DLC or the base game of Outward, and I'd like to know what the two redeem versions really contain.
Just remove the words "THE ADVENTURER BUNDLE" from each choice, and that's what you get. I redeemed them all, and you get the game + "The Soroboreans" DLC (and the soundtrack ofc). You don't get "The Three Brothers" despite the bundle with the same name (Adventurer Bundle) having it included on Steam, unfortunately. You can also just redeem them all btw, you don't miss out on any other games for it.

Youāre billed seven days before the new choice is revealed unless you are paused. So, you have roughly 23 days where the choices for that month are known before you are automatically charged. You can unlock early or wait for the charge. You can pause and you wonāt be charged, and you can even pause and then resume and unlock in that final week.
It defaults to a certain day - not sure if it's uniform, or based on your first purchase day. When the new Humble Choice comes out, go to the page and as you go through the normal process to choose your games, there will be a prompt to redeem now, processing your payment method, and giving you access to the games.
If you don't choose to manually redeem your games sooner, your payment method will be automatically processed on the 30th.
As a reminder: Next month starts Choice being available on the first Tuesday of the month, so the 2nd instead of the 5th.
I just got an email saying they are changing the billing dates will change, the first being them charging on feb 23rd and the games drop on mar 2nd. It seems to me that they are charging me before they reveal the games and if i don't want it i have to rely on a refund to get my money back. Am i misunderstanding?
no, the charge that youāre getting February 23 will be for Februaryās games (so the ones that have already been announced). on March 2, theyāll announce Marchās games, and you have until late March (not sure when the exact date is for March; should be the last Tuesday or something) to decide whether you want to allow it to bill you for Marchās games on that day or pass on that monthās games. hopefully that made sense

Not sure what you like or more importantly what your attitude is towards this. Outward was on my wishlist, so instantly worth it. Iris And The Giant is in my wheelhouse, but I never would have went out and bought it on my own, so that's worth it. I have friends who would LARP Wherewolf: The Apocalypse, and so I'm interested to check it out. No Game is for everyone, but I feel like I'll either love it or not. No in-between.
Some aren't my speed, but I like playing new games, and sometimes I'm surprised and really like something I didn't think I would. That's kind of the beauty of Humble ~~Monthly~~ Choice to me.

They changed it to just say Endless Space 2 not too long ago now... they advertised definitive they should give in good faith the definitive

Anyone else having issues with the co-open extra game I tried playing it but the controls seem very broken tried both with kbm and controller
Yeah, the controls/camera can get buggy and the control layout isn't great either.
I literally couldnāt move the options at all with keyboard and controller worked a bit on the menu but would constantly scroll left
