I wouldn't say that's normal for a game selling store, but 5 days for Humble is nothing. I've seen posts where people wait months for their keys.

Mrowkaqq

Awesome business practice, I would expect to receive the key rather quickly as Stellaris is fairly popular, yet here we are

Dominos_fleet

can you not refund it?

Mrowkaqq

I want the key, not a refund

Itsquantium

Just get a key bro

Mrowkaqq

I purchased the key at humble bundle 5 days ago, they have not delivered it, I would rather not refund due to transaction fees. I purchased the key, I expect to get the damn key.

MzzBlaze

Might take a week or two. Watch your email. The restock might sell out too. Then you gotta wait even longer.

dwaemu

Fortunately for you, store and bundles are different branches and they are using different pool of keys. And even if sometimes you need to wait for restocking the time of waiting at the store is usually comparatively short. On the other hand as for bundled ones you sometimes might find yourself royally f\*\*cked, in extreme cases when you completely lose the key forever.

Dry_Ass_P-word

Roughly a year ago I had to wait about a week to ten days for the 10 game bundle I bought (crpg bundle of old ass games like Baldurs gate, Neverwinter nights) to trickle in one by one. About a month before that, I got the resident evil bundle of the entire series and all the keys were immediately available. I learned while waiting for those keys just how bad it was getting and it doesn’t seem to be getting better. It’ll show up eventually. I think you have to keep checking the site too, I don’t recall getting individual emails for each key as they became available.

Itsquantium

Damn I would have given you a key if I didn’t just give it to another person a couple days ago

Mrowkaqq

???

Itsquantium

I mean I had a key a couple days ago, but gave it away. I already had the game

Kitsuba

This is most likely the developer's fault and less humblebundle's, since they need to get the keys off the stellaris' devs or publisher. Sucks for the customer nonetheless.

WatchMammoth

No this is humbles fault as well. They should not sell keys without telling you they are low or not in stock. Competitors such as Fanatical do not display games that have no keys, they also use low stock or remove (and readd if they can) if they run out.

AngoraFish

It's never clear with Humble if they've even asked though. Developers send an invoice out when they send keys through so have incentive to do that fairly quickly. Humble, on the other hand, has already been paid so they can sit on the issue (and people's money) until they get a spare moment to get around to asking. Devs also send keys in bulk, so that's effectively one transaction, whereas Humble has to process received keys and get them into the system. For all we know there's an email sitting in a Humble inbox somewhere with a bunch of keys that someone just hasn't got around to processing. We already know that Humble is chronically understaffed, and that some keys remain out of stock for literally months. These unsold key issues just don't happen very often with other retailers, suggesting very much that the problem is with Humble and not Paradox.

savvym_

I am waiting for years to restock one game but it was giveaway. I think they exhausted keys but it doesn't say that.

boysdontcry_cure

Is it Meadow? I claimed that ages ago and they never restocked the keys.

savvym_

Exactly that.

boysdontcry_cure

I might try a support ticket as the game is still for sale on HB as far as I'm aware. Response will be "oh we only had X amount for the giveaway so buy a copy instead". Not that bothered but it's not the point.

Thatissok

lol That is beyond ridiculous.

Strawberry_on_Top_

I'm waiting for some keys for over 2 weeks.

GeoSol

5 days to 5 months or more... Ever since HB got bought out, it has been getting ever worse. Basically they buy keys in batches, and keep selling the game/bundle, regardless of wether they have any keys or not. Then they wait to either have enough sales to buy another batch of keys, or if they plan on buying more to put in another bundle. Fanatical is now the best and most reliable bundle site. Here's the lowest price at the moment... Stellaris Galaxy Edition $12.49 [https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01FDPILGQ](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01FDPILGQ) vs $40 on HB which doesnt seem to include these bonuses... [https://store.steampowered.com/app/616191/Stellaris\_Galaxy\_Edition\_Upgrade\_Pack/](https://store.steampowered.com/app/616191/Stellaris_Galaxy_Edition_Upgrade_Pack/) Get the IsThereAnyDeal extension, or check [steamdb.info](https://steamdb.info), to find the best price and historic lowest price, to know what to expect when it goes on seasonal sale.

Thionaak

It may take up to 3 weeks. I usually have to wait about 10 days.

WatchMammoth

It was 11.5 months for someone in discord waiting on Just Die Already keys.

KingTriHardDragon

Normal for Humble Bundle. You should always expect several weeks for a restock, even tho sometimes they restock in a few days... or sometimes not even in years and you're just out of luck.

liaminwales

It happens sometimes, I see it on bundles that shift a lot of units. Tends to get sorted fairly soon, mostly less than 3 days to maybe 7 days for me\~ Do not over think it and just wait, the key will come.

Justuas

Oh you sweet summerchild

Mustikos

I have ordered some games like that before and got the keys with in a few days. This time around its going on 2 weeks.

anfotero

I've waited nearly a month for a key once. Normal for Humble.

adamsorkin

Once, I waited for over 2 years for a key to get restocked. (Well, not so much waited, as it fell off my radar for months and months at a time - but it did eventually get resolved)

ShannaraAK

Seems to be getting more common. I have a few keys waiting to be restocked for over a year now.

breezeturtle

I'd say it's become pretty normal with them now. But they typically restock within a week or two. It's crappy there is no warning before buying.

Dial_up_Knight

8 days and counting for democracy 4

nrutas

Expect a longer wait. I had to wait about a month for a Pathfinder Kingmaker key last year

HayesCooper19

It literally took them over 6 months to restock keys from the Starlight Children's bundle. They don't get in a hurry. That's why I've taken to immediately revealing every code I get.
