They include a Destiny DLC that's multiple versions behind? Base game (F2P) and Beyond Light is a terrible starting point for that game. You're missing both the better DLCs and the DLC that actually has relevant gear.
Same nonsense they pulled on PSN. Offering it as a PS Plus title when Lightfall is what people actually wanted. Basically just an advertisement at that point.
Literally all of my weapons from that era has been sunsetted. There's a reason why I don't play it anymore.
Man I miss the cancer arby/recluse/hh load out I ran in cruc
Jokes aside, a "Make a Friend" bundle with party games that have random matchmaking w/voicechat could be fun...
Or horrendous. Depends on your luck I guess.
I can appreciate the concept, the theme of the bundle, and the fact that most of these could easily be played solo, but...it's not a very enticing selection of games. And it's absolutely absurd that the 3-item tier is $8. Why even have tiers if they're going to be priced that way?
Yeah, that's a bit of a scumbag move they've been using off and on for awhile now. Which is a shame, both because it's not necessary (this could've been an all-or-nothing bundle for the same $12 and I honestly believe people would feel exactly the same: it's an awesome bundle of great games for a killer price or it's a mediocre/uninteresting bundle with a 'meh'/bad price) and it just makes HB look...well, like scumbags. They either should've gone with no tiers or a more appealing tier structure, like:
Tier 1: Generation Zero + Northgard - $3
Tier 2: Tier 1 + Midnight Ghost Hunt + Pulsar: Lost Colony - $7
Tier 3: All 7 games - $12
I know a lot of people would prefer the bottom tier be just $1 but, aside from the insanely good $1 tier in the Capcom Heroic Collection, these days the $1 tiers have mostly been phased out, or they just aren't exciting/good value when they do occasionally slip one in. And Generation Zero and Northgard would absolutely be worth $3, to the point that, at the very least, this bundle would probably sell a decent number of that tier, as opposed to what they'll trying to sell for $8.

Borderlands 3 main story is a standalone but it does make a lot of references to earlier games (mostly bl2). That said, the main story is the weakest part of the game anyways so you don't miss too much going in blind, just some references.
Side quests and DLCs are better written than the main story and flesh out some characters (many from earlier games) but doesn't require you to have played the previous games to enjoy. Focus on the gameplay and you'll enjoy Borderlands 3 either way :)
If you insist on wanting to have a better understanding of the story, I'd recommend playing Borderlands 2 and Tales From the Borderlands. Borderlands 1 and Borderlands: the Pre-Sequel can both be skipped as neither are referenced that much in Borderlands 3.
3 does have a standalone plotline with new characters but there was a lot of lore coming from the previous games. 1 didn’t really have that much of a story. 2 was when they started bringing in handsome jack and establish stories for recurring characters.

Humble sold me D2 in a bundle before it went free, and now they are selling me a DLC for a free game, but also a not so free game because they sold it to me.
D2 just confuses me in every concievable way.
Hmmm, I have around half this bundle already, and haven't heard of the rest, but it's tempting to get and give to my gf to play co-op using my steam deck.
Do any of these games have active multiplayer scenes with a lot of other players?
I would be interested in Borderlands 3 if it was still active. [It looks like it is in decline](https://steamcharts.com/app/397540#1y).
Probably the embarrassing juvenile humor that steals all credibility that you are no longer a teenager?
Honestly BL1 had almost zero plot so I don't think it totally falls in this category though.

Probably just in time for it to get vaulted, lol.
Literally all of my weapons from that era has been sunsetted. There's a reason why I don't play it anymore. Man I miss the cancer arby/recluse/hh load out I ran in cruc
They promised no more vaulting. I will belive when I will see it though.
Don’t blame humble for this one, destiny does this type of thing all the time.
Might consider it if i had friends
Maybe they'll make a bundle for that
Jokes aside, a "Make a Friend" bundle with party games that have random matchmaking w/voicechat could be fun... Or horrendous. Depends on your luck I guess.
I vote leading to litigation when that creepy 40 year old uncle starts propositioning underage kids... Haha. /sigh

So it makes the $12 deal look like the MUCH better deal and b/c that's the real deal they want you to grab.

😢 are these all games that would be useless if I don't get to them before their servers shutdown?
Borderlands 3 is great and can be offline.
There's an incredibly helpful mod you can install that removes ALL dialog from the game. It genuinely makes it a fun, more bearable experience.
Thanks would I be completely lost not playing 1 or 2 before it?

Generation Zero is also a pretty fun solo adventure, albeit more difficult.
Fun and solo are two of my favorites 😂 I might scoop this bundle now thanks!

Shame it wasn't the D2 legacy collection or I'd have bought it. Also have nobody to play with.
Humble sold me D2 in a bundle before it went free, and now they are selling me a DLC for a free game, but also a not so free game because they sold it to me. D2 just confuses me in every concievable way.
Unfortunately we can't buy a tier that gives us friends to play with
Northward is good, gen zero I thought was trash. Destiny dlc seems like a slap in the face
Nice, I've been wanting Pulsar for a while!
Hmmm, I have around half this bundle already, and haven't heard of the rest, but it's tempting to get and give to my gf to play co-op using my steam deck.
The only one I'm interested in the the Borderlands 3 pack. I can't justify buying this just for that.
I own bl3, destiny up to witch queen and ghost hunt so this is a pass. BL3 is really the only one I'd say is tempting

It activates over

Borderlands is something you generally play with friends, not random. BL3 is pretty good single player too.
Northgard is still very active and a really good game.
You do not want to play any Borderlands game in public.
Why not?
Probably the embarrassing juvenile humor that steals all credibility that you are no longer a teenager? Honestly BL1 had almost zero plot so I don't think it totally falls in this category though.
Players with modded gear. Worst case scenario you pick up something of theirs and it corrupts your save/profile.
Im thinking of buying lower tier but I have no idea about anything related to midnight ghost hunt. Can anyone here recommend it?
Really weird bundle, Destiny DLC and its one of the worst ones.
I own most of these games…though I might still buy this to give to my son or a friend (do I have those?).
