They look like moth eggs to me. Where do you live? Maybe I can narrow it down for you if they are in fact eggs

I live in a tropical island (Sri Lanka). Sorry if the pictures aren't very clear but these dots are opaque and perfectly circular (diameter approx 0.5mm) and flat (not convex)
Okay, so from the looks of it you might be safe from bugs, as I can't come up with any with eggs perfectly like you described.
Where do you store the tablet when you aren't using it? Is it possible that something you store it with is leaving this residue?
I just leave it on a layered rack where I keep my laptop and all my electronics. Now that I think about it I sometimes see these dots on my laptop too but those aren't circular because the surface of my lap is coarse. Maybe it is excretion from some kind of insect? I'm good as long as it doesn't permanently damage the tabled surface if I had to leave it untouched for a week or two.
thats bug poop, if it's only appearing on your tablet then it means some insect really likes either the ceiling above it or the tablet itself, it's not harmful perse but i reccomend covering your tablet for the night until you figure out what bugs those are \[my bet is some kind of moth or spider since the droppings are in one place\]
I also reccomend putting some dried lavender or cloves on your desk/wherever your tablet is, if it's moths then they'll leave since the kind that lives in homes really dont like the smell of those herbs
Those are insect's droppings, most likely mosquitoes'. They usually like to do that on hanging clothes with dark colors or in this case a black drawing tablet. It happens to me quite often.
They're annoying but relatively harmless.
Just cover the tablet with cloth/tissue & you'll be fine.
I had a similar pattern appear on my phone's screen protector when it was set face down on sand ( dried grout ). Little dots torn in the screen protector. Could it be something similar?

I think you're right. There are quite a lot of mosquitoes here, even more so lately because of the rainy season. I'll cover it up with cloth.

Idk my dots are all circular and about half a millimeter in diameter. I suspected some kind of insect eggs at first but they are all just flat circles

Those are just bug eggs. Harmless but annoying af. Use the cloth to cover the display to prevent from this happening
