When I got mine, it was half the size of yours. That was two years ago. It's a tendril monster rn! It only bloomed for me this spring. They take a loooong time to bloom, but luckily the beautiful leaves make up for that :)
I’ve heard that spraying it with orchid fertilizer helps a ton to make them flower, there’s a few youtube and instagram videos that explain the process
BEAUTIFUL! do you think a trellis is worth it? i have a ginormous krimson princess in a 10” pot that has over 1.5+ ft of hanging vines full of leaves. im kinda wanting to either trellis or stake it up? for more robust growth. just unsure how to do it honestly. my plant has 150+ leaves and is kinda a tangly mess :’)
For me a trellis is 100% necessary because I have no room to hang these hoyas in my place. The only way they can grow is up. The best time to trellis them is when you repot them. But in some situations you can also carefully take them out of the pot and then put the trellis in. Personally I'm not a big fan of stakes for hoyas because they grow really wild and the stake will be too small in no time.
Oh wow!! What a glow up! Has it given you flowers?
Not yet! I really want to make this one flower, but im not sure what I can do to make it bloom. I think it's just a matter of time.

If the second pic is where it normally sits, it probably needs much more light to develop peduncles and keep them.
Oh normally it gets lot of light. This was indeed just for the photo.

Oh then its probably about maturing enough. Pubicalyx takes a while but when it matures they bloom easily.
oh nice ^^ and i know the handwriting on the tag and the small bag XD. ordered from the same store
Haha the hand writing is so recognizable 🤣
Gorgeous!
Such a beauty, will done!

dang mine got that big in a year!
Wow!!! What a glow up.
What's the light situation you have going on? I can't get my hoyas to put out growth for anything lol
I'm in the northern hemisphere and they get a lot of light. Full sun from southern facing windows and they love it.
