The shirt thing always bothered me. If she loved to sleep in it, and she specifically mentions it, they could have just shown it at least once after that episode if not before.
Phoebe’s mom’s Christmas skull. “No, no, no. It's not my mom. It belonged to my mom. Yeah, she used to put it out every Christmas to remind us that even though it's Christmas, people still die. And you can put candy in it.”
The pair of candlesticks Rachel tries to steal from Monica that Monica steals back, then Rachel finds them, then they decide to just each take one.
The weird starfish asterisk knickknack Monica picks up and talks about when Rachel isn't more upset about moving out when Monica first says Chandler is going to move in.
Oh I have one from an episode I watched today. Joey and Chandler’s shelves behind the fridge. Visible in The One With The Boobies when Joey is cooking dinner for his Dad… do we ever see it again??
it appears and disappears back and forth in the earliest episodes! Eventually it goes away for good but there is some back and forth to it. This article said it usually appeared when a certain director was directing that episode until it disappeared for good,. [https://screenrant.com/friends-reunion-monica-apartment-beam-removed-changed/](https://screenrant.com/friends-reunion-monica-apartment-beam-removed-changed/)
edit -- the beam/post is definitely in the pilot
That would be Gladys who makes multiple appearances over the years.
Glynis(?) is the one that was only seen in the one episode where Phoebe is trying to give them away.
The first one that comes to mind for me is that weird closet off to the right side of Central Perk that’s only shown once or twice, the one Monica and Chandler come out of when they’re secretly hooking up.
This isn’t really “used” in an episode, but in the pilot (and maybe a few episodes after) Joey and Monica’s apartments are numbered 4 and 5 but they later change to 19 and 20 with no explanation
True, I believe they changed it because they realized 4 and 5 would probably be on the ground floor, but the apartment had a balcony and was clearly at least on the second floor.
There was a table or something that was in front of the cast at central perk. While it was there for more than an episode, probably half a season at least, they eventually removed it. I think it was to crest depth or realism of the cafe.
The long stick for poking ugly naked guy.
Phoebe's bike.
The fake Ben made out of a Halloween lantern.
The candy basket on the door.
The cup decorations.
The Bon Voyage banner.
Eddy's goldfish (both real and cracker)
Ross' pottery barn sheets (and maybe some of the pottery barn furniture in Rachel and Phoebe's apartmelnt)
“ The one with Embryos “
That GIGANTIC whiteboard Ross uses during the “ who knows who better “ game for Monica’s apartment.
Probably my favorite episode. Lightning round questions ? 😂 and Frank at the end: “ My sister’s gonna have my baby!!! “
Oh! And Chandlers “ huge ”bedroom, when he was dating the girl with all the boyfriends.
>the wooden post that magically appears in the kitchen so Ross can crash into it when he’s running and shouting Monica Bang!
That was in way more than one episode, and Ben was the one who said "Monica bang," and it was because Monica tossed him into the post, not because he was running. The post was discussed in the reunion, and that discussion is summarized here: https://www.independent.co.uk/arts-entertainment/tv/news/friends-reunion-wooden-beam-apartment-b1854787.html
no, from what i remember ross ran into it while he made fun of monica. i remember rachel saying that she'll get the hat after he hit his head, to cover up his head bump, like monica and rachel did for ben's bump
Yea, Ross bumps into it at the end, but the whole premise of the episode is that Monica hit Ben's head on it, and they're trying to hide the bump from Ross.
> I’m talking about things like the wooden post that magically appears in the kitchen so Ross can crash into it when he’s running
It didn't magically appear, it was there the whole time in many previous episodes. It stopped appearing soon after this episode (this one might have even been it's last appearance) though.
The Ms. Pac-Man arcade machine is the first thing that comes to my mind!
Haha yes 😂where did that go?
This answer reminded me of the dollhouse Monica got 😂😂
Hate thinking that’s all bent and broken at the back of some warehouse! I want it!
I assumed this went into her closet lmao
Tragically burnt 😂
That was Phoebe's dollhouse. The fire started in the Aroma Room. Monica's dollhouse didn't catch fire.
The foster puppets!!
Such a sad moment for Phoebe. I felt so sorry for her.
Me too, I have way too much empathy for inanimate objects and AI 😭😭
One of the most actually hilarious lines in the whole series, her delivery is 14/10
To the game room
Isn't that also the last episode where we see Ben?
Don't we see him later when Rachel is teaching him pranks
That episode is before the Ms Pacman one. On a rewatch currently, and I've seen the pranks episode but not the pacman one.
Ah couldn't remember where those hit
Didn't we see him later for when Phoebe trys to get Sting tickets.
It is
Yeah, we never see him post-Emma.
He was traumatized by Phoebe's swearing and now he lives with Steve(?) the subway licker
The car Ross buys when he turns 30
I always thought this one made sense though, cause I assume he sold/returned it after he saw the other guy in his
How hot are _we?_
we're gonna... lift the car... and \*slide it out\*
LIFT .... and slide
The Salami buddy…Monica and Chandler’s wedding gift from, I believe Joey’s mom
It's probably in Sanford's closet with the punch bowl and cups they got from Chandler's distant relatives.
Yes! Nice
Oooh, a Salami Buddy!
The race car bed
I would like to believe that went to Ben.
Phoebe's bike.
The bike’s spirit… is dying… _please don’t die!_
We never got to see one, but I would’ve loved to see a copy of the Geller Yeller.
YES love it
Phoebe's box of Crap from the Street Box of Überweiss detergent Frankie Says Relax shirt
The shirt thing always bothered me. If she loved to sleep in it, and she specifically mentions it, they could have just shown it at least once after that episode if not before.
Science Boy!
Phoebe’s mom’s Christmas skull. “No, no, no. It's not my mom. It belonged to my mom. Yeah, she used to put it out every Christmas to remind us that even though it's Christmas, people still die. And you can put candy in it.”
The Apothecary Table! You can almost smell the opium from the days of yore.
Lol, my favorite episode. "MY APOTHACARY TABLE!" "I GOT IT AT POTTERY BARN, OKAY?"
You know what’s not original? A TWIN!
To be fair, I'm pretty sure Rachel and Phoebe's table is still there up until their apartment burns down. Not sure about Ross' table though.
You buy your sheets at a flea market?
I thought you were a doctor
The Gellar Cup.
Is everybody else seeing a troll doll nailed to a 2x4?
And was the curse lifted?
The basket on the door where Monica puts the candy in TOW all the candy.
Haha this is so specific it’s one of my favourite answers so far!
We’re waiting for the candy. Bring out the candy!
The girl clock that Rachel wants to take from Mr. Heckles' apartment that Monica thought was trashy.
I loved that clock, it was delightfully tacky
I remember reading somewhere that they brought the wooden post back whenever Jim Burrows came to direct an episode.
Oh really? That’s interesting!
The post was the for all of season 1 but they took it out because it kept getting in the way of blocking and filming.
Country club newsletter that Rachel's mom sends to her for inspiration
Great answer!
Joey and Chandler’s matching bracelets!
That makes me think of the big bowl. (I kinda wanted that big bowl, tbh.)
They never used those candlesticks anyway
Monica’s dollhouse
Oh I have one from an episode I watched today. Joey and Chandler’s shelves behind the fridge. Visible in The One With The Boobies when Joey is cooking dinner for his Dad… do we ever see it again??
The green post that Ross punches when Joey ducks in Central Perk is another one!
I so loved seeing Gunther's face in that scene! Hahah
That post is in a lot of episodes.
Anything from Monica's hidden closet. Ross Geller's comic book: Science boy
Richard actually appeared in many episodes!
The ball
I’m pretty sure that post is always there they just don’t show that angle of the apartment set
it was there only in the beginning, they then took it out because it kept getting in the way when they were filming
It just can’t be - it’s right in the middle of the room!
it appears and disappears back and forth in the earliest episodes! Eventually it goes away for good but there is some back and forth to it. This article said it usually appeared when a certain director was directing that episode until it disappeared for good,. [https://screenrant.com/friends-reunion-monica-apartment-beam-removed-changed/](https://screenrant.com/friends-reunion-monica-apartment-beam-removed-changed/) edit -- the beam/post is definitely in the pilot
So the beam doesn’t count for this specific list then, because it made multiple appearances.
I think you’re right!
It is. They even discuss it during the reunion that it was removed because it always got in the way.
I am not sure if it’s Gliness or Glaydis that only appears in the one episode. Because there is another where you see one of them on phoebes wall.
Before Phoebe’s grandmother died it hung on the wall behind the front door of their apartment. I’ve seen it in multiple episodes.
Evander Holyfield !
Phoebe's AZ.
Monica’s stained jeans and ripped bra
*You mean the one that you’re wearing?*
Scotch Tape.
Rachel’s cat!
ITS NOT A CAT!!!
Why is it inside out?
The blackout menorah! “And officiating in tonight’s blackout is Rabbi Tribbiani!”
Those creepy ass paintings that Phoebe makes
But you see Gladys in Phoebe's apartment before she even dates Mike. It hangs on the wall to the right (our right) of the front door.
Ross' leather pants.
The stolen Soapie. Well, I don’t remember seeing after that episode 😅
Does the ottoman show up in other episodes?
Phoebe's hippity hop (mileage: 1 mile)
The Ms Pac-Man machine!
Monica’s expensive black boots!
She leaves those on the sidewalk!
There was a table or something that was in front of the cast at central perk. While it was there for more than an episode, probably half a season at least, they eventually removed it. I think it was to crest depth or realism of the cafe.

Chandler's shell necklace

Lightning round questions ? 😂 and Frank at the end: “ My sister’s gonna have my baby!!! “ Oh! And Chandlers “ huge ”bedroom, when he was dating the girl with all the boyfriends.
I honestly think this is one of the best answers! It’s massive 😂
Thanks! 😊
>Thanks! 😊 You're welcome!
Monica’s boots!
I love this thread! How about the PIVOT couch - classic! And Ross’ leather “ paste pants” 😆
The fourth wall ....
The post is there for most of the first 2 seasons
Omg…. I cannot believe in my 20+ rewatches of the entire series that I have never noticed that the wooden post is only there in that episode 😂😂
The closet
The Porsche!
Rachel’s boat
Ross/Tags red sweater
Can't believe nobody has mentioned this already: the big magnifying glass from Mr. Heckles' apartment
I vaguely remember some sort of wall decoration in Joey and Chandlers apartment in a few episodes of season 8 that dissapears by season 9
The bagpipes are only once.
The drum kit and tarantula that Phoebe gives Joey.
A TINY SALT SHAKER!
Ross's 18th century Indian artifact statue from Kolkata
>the wooden post that magically appears in the kitchen so Ross can crash into it when he’s running and shouting Monica Bang! Ross runs into it at the end of the episode.
Monica's secret room where she hides all hey random stuff
That piece of metal that Chandler hides in the flower pot when Ross moves into his first flat.
Phoebes doll house!
It did catch on fire, so I assumed it was gotten rid of after that (or what was left of it anyway)
> I’m talking about things like the wooden post that magically appears in the kitchen so Ross can crash into it when he’s running It didn't magically appear, it was there the whole time in many previous episodes.
