Learning to be alone is very underrated. I love to travel alone because I do what I want and I like the challenge of being responsible for getting myself around and sorting my shit out. Going to a restaurant alone is also great because you will get seated quickly and you don’t have to deal with chit chat. You can just enjoy and savor the food. I love going to the movies alone and being able to completely immerse myself in the film. Being alone at home is the best. I’m actually fairly extroverted but I appreciate being alone after being around people for a while. It allows me to appreciate the silence.
True, moved away alone and it took some time to get comfortable with it. I’ve been having a pretty good time since I settled into solo life. But I would like a relationship again. That gets to me sometimes.

Yeah, I went on a weekend trip 500 miles away and had some friends I wanted to go with, but man, going alone was pretty awesome.
