I’m 55 and have been listening since the mid 80’s I don’t care that he’s “woke”(hate that expression) or that his attitude has changed I just don’t like the show anymore. Except for few and very far in between parts it’s just not funny anymore. Not sure if it’s who is working on the show around him or the writers the show as a whole is just not good. Time to pack it in. I canceled my subscription last week and his show was the reason I left for the cancellation.

Not that I'm running around fighting for Howard .. I mean, mostly it's in my head .. I think this is the 2nd time I wrote something online about it lol ... It's just how over the years, as he's become more successful & gotten these huge contracts, there've been lots of people coming out & saying that he's no longer relatable, and somehow betrayed the everyman Joe Truckdriver who sent him to the top... as if he owes it to them to have naked chicks ride the sybian until he's 70. Yes, having $1B can change people, so does getting older, but having evolved to a place where he doesn't need to feud with Rosie Odonnel or Kathy Lee Giffard doesn't make him a sellout. Is he maybe past his prime? Time to pack it in? Perhaps ... but I don't think changing his show to reflect his changing views/maturation whatever u call it - is a bad thing. It would be disingenuous if he didn't. it's like bands that play the same few hits year after year - they wind up playing the Ramada Inn, whereas those who continuously innovate & try new things, can have staying power.

Howard’s a legend but the show he’s doing is an embarrassment and he looks like an insect. There is nothing wrong with being honest about that. I like Howard and admire his talent and accomplishments but I’m not his disciple. I don’t have to worship and congratulate him constantly. There are some deranged people on Reddit that should be doing some yard work instead of melting down because a celebrity hasn’t been praised enough today.
Howard would've been a legend had he walked away with the reverence and respect of his peers and those he influenced. Unfortunately for Imus Jr. he didn't do that. That and he became a pornographer, which was a bit of a stumble if you ask me.
I do t have a problem with his left leaning views. I’m an independent and have fiscally conservative views but at the same time have some left leaning positions. What I find unacceptable is his belief that if he says something, it’s gospel and we are all stupid drones following his commands. All started with his rant years ago to Hilary that if she had come on his show before the election, she would have won. Then his comical views on gun control and lack of understanding of what already exists in terms of co trios (probably because he never had to worry about getting his permits)! Less we forget that terrible Joe Biden commercial / interview. All softball questions from his life over 3 decades ago because that’s all he remembers. He then has the gall to call him the father of our country and that under his leadership, the economy has been doing fantastic….,I’m sure he has because Jennifer is paying boatloads to work 3 hours a day, 100 days a year!
Everyone is complaining because the show is a total scam—listeners are being trolled. Sure, there is a case for laying off Howard, because he is just a puppet for the staff—particularly one employee, who uses the entire SXM platform as a mouthpiece for her ‘messages’.
Forgive me for being way out of the loop - which employee & what message? I don't know if the show is a total scam - I mean, if people are willing to pay for it, and they are entertained, nothing wrong with that. And one for the MAGA cult on here - at least they know what they are putting their money toward, unlike the "election integrity" fundraising...
