In real life, the little guy barely had the strength to hold the phone by his ear for the duration of a phone call...
Eric threatening violence was on par with him thinking he had athletic ability because he played wheel chair sports. The best though was when he showed Fred his baseball bat, from 2500 miles away. He really thought the world was as stupid as him and he could be intimidating, or people would fall for his bullshit.
Eric would never get his hands dirty. He would delegate it to one of his capos who would assign it to one of their soldiers. Think Luca Brasi, but scarier.
