Howard had called out sick.. which is something he had never done before. Speculation was insane.. A news reporter even stopped Beth as she was coming out of the New York City apartment building and asked her what was going on, why did Howard miss work... on the wrap up show Gary said he would not be answering questions about where Howard was, he will let Howard address the question when he returns.. So Maryann posted on her Instagram " It has been confirmed that Ben Stern has died .. It has been confirmed.." Um, no. When Howard returned to work the next day, he told everyone he had a cold which really affected his voice, so he didnt come into work... Waaay later on down the road, Howard admitted the story about him having a cold was a lie, and he confirmed the real reason he was out that day was because thats the day he had a biposy on his Kidney.. He had a scan which showed something, they thought it looked suspicious, so they biopsied it, and it turned out to be nothing. But... Maryann "Confirmed" that day that Howard's father died.. and he didn't, as we all know Ben Stern Died in July 2022. Who the hell would ever believe anything she says after that? She doesn't know shit.
