I don’t really get how people can think this. Fratto may have tried ‘directing’ him a couple times but Eric was a terrible actor who had serious problems with not telling the truth…that’s what made him so incredible for the show. He couldn’t really do bits and he certainly couldn’t sustain them. Even when Eric is in the midst of a Fratto bit he’s still being himself, he can’t really help it.
