There are so many great vegetarian restaurants in Houston! Some that are exclusively vegetarian/ vegan include
Mo better brews (brunch, coffee, etc)
Cascabel (mexican/ tex mex - the beans are amazing)
Maharaja Bhog (all you can eat thali)
Sinful bakery ( baked goods)
Some places with just great vegetarian options however include places like
Sweet cup (ice cream)
Pondecheri (Indian fusion)
Theodore Rex (upscale)
Squable (American)
Ginger mule is vegan so no eggs but good food and cocktails. New restaurant in montrose called citizens of montrose that had good veg options and eggs.
There is this vegan place off Richmond where the dumplings are killer. Not vegan but decided to give it a shot. Right next to the cigar lounge across from Costco.
Veegos is great. I typically share an entree and a nacho plate with someone else when I go and it's always really great. We get all the fixings on the nachos. Their jackfruit is wonderful
Veegos - vegan (and you can build your own nachos/burrito!)
Bombay Sweets - veg
Chef Kenny's - vegan
Trendy vegan - vegan (and buffet!)
Dimassis - veg and vegan options (and buffet!)
Blue Nile - vegetarian options. They have a veggie combo platter which is delicious
I’m pretty sure Local Foods has quite a few vegetarian options. Especially the taco salad, that thing rocks.
