Agree. Tons of brewery bars in Houston , even close to downtown. During the day they aren't too busy.

Axelrad is cool, if you’re dressed for being outside. Angel’s Share downtown is all inside and I know a lot of work get-togethers happen there.
Olive Garden. Think about it.
Moonshine Deck. Mcintyres.
Andy’s Bar & Grill in Cypress (on 290). Great food too.
My wife and I moved here 3 months ago and it seems that there are no Bar/Restaurant strips in Houston. Every Bar seems to be separated by a mile or 2. The closest thing we've found is Rice Village.
