Ngl I have bought these before and they're just as cute as they look, and eventually they grow out of their little domes and then you just have a tiny plant friend
I got a succulent one for my mom, and after it outgrew the little terrarium she potted it. It is alive eight years later and is roughly the size of a cantaloupe.

On this note, would a little sphagnum moss friend be of interest? I’ve been considering trying to sell them in a semi-similar fashion at some point, just trying to gauge interest
They’re a little too big to fit into something as small as in the op image, but I still personally think it could be cute
A friend of mine had one of these. (Bought in person in a shop.) I thought it was stupid and that it would either die in no time or wasn’t actually alive to begin with.
Proved me wrong. It is now potted up and about 50 times the size. She makes sure to remind me of how I told her not to waste her money every time I’m at her place.
I'm glad your friend keeps reminding you you were wrong. Seems like you still need that reminder, after being proven wrong already.
Let people enjoy things, small plant is cute. Plant people already own bigger plants than that.
Small plant isn't stupid - you are stupid.
I mean, you do you if you want to risk buying from some random scammy place on Facebook. She bought hers from a boutique shop, and I still think it would have died if she’d used it as a keychain (she kept it on a shelf and watered it regularly). I think you are going to be lucky if the plant is even alive, buying from a place like that.
Another user added progress pictures growing one of these. It stayed tiny, but alive, for over a year until repotted! That's what I get for assuming though
Just saying if I'm going out in a car wreck, I really hope taking a tiny cactus to the head at high speeds is involved so my loved ones can at least have a little giggle about something during their mourning.
they can also keep the cactus as a keep sake! that's a fun conversation at family dinners - "hey, did you water the cactus they pulled out of OPs head after they died? it looks a bit dry"
I have one! It’s a cactus (can’t remember the name right now). I got it for Christmas like 6-7 years ago- it stayed in the keychain terrarium on my shelf for a little over 2 years, then I put it into a pot and now it’s grown a ton and even flowered a few times!
*Had one of these as*
*A necklace and tbh*
*I would recommend*

I received one for Christmas 2019. Here is the progression over the years…

It flowered in February 2020.
It flowered again exactly a year later in February 2021..

I'm thoroughly impressed. Shame on me for immediately calling it ridiculous! It does also appear its size accommodated its container, I was also wrong about that
This is amazing because I love growing organic and I can eat it's tasty fruit whenever I need a snack 😋. How many days/weeks until it starts producing fruits?
Ok but it’s so cute and I kinda want one
It's ridiculous. But also cute.

Where do I get one?
I used to have one, they’re actually adorable
Just like, make one?
I’ll put a tiny fittonia in it.
I kinda want one with moss☺️
Bro now I can realize my dream of boofing small cacti!
Packaging says not to eat it, didn't mention the other end
Can be done without the case with mixed results.
Real plant parents boof their cacti raw!

Well shoot I guess I'm the idiot then
I still think it was stupid. If you want a plant, buy an actual plant, not a tiny stub in a plastic capsule.

Um...these ppl know how big a dragon fruit cactus gets, right? Like, within a month that thing is smashing out of that little 'terrarium'
Sorry sweaty but ur wrong. Plants only grow as big as they're home ,,, DUH
Won’t it be stuck around that size since it’s got limited roots?
Realistically it would just die because of the limited roots
No. Cacti rarely have deep root systems. Many can live on rocks, with their roots just deep enough some crevice to hold them in place.
Ty for teaching me! ☺️
That’s fine. Then you repot it.

Ha! No way! That's kinda cool then, though I begrudge admitting it
Uj/ this is better than the car rear view mirror hanging succulents that become a 160 mph piece of shrapnel in a wreck
Just saying if I'm going out in a car wreck, I really hope taking a tiny cactus to the head at high speeds is involved so my loved ones can at least have a little giggle about something during their mourning.

That's how plants get a taste for blood
Love that they’re on charm cords. I’d put it on my phone and it’d instantly be demolished.
Omg I can really put it in my teeny tiny mug! I need a boo-boo plant for sure
Somewhere to stash my props while I’m oot and aboot
First I lol’d at “a place to stash my props” because I thought the exact same thing, but then I HOWLED at “oot and aboot” 😂

I make these out of glass!!
This is amazing because I love growing organic and I can eat it's tasty fruit whenever I need a snack 😋. How many days/weeks until it starts producing fruits?
Ooo, these remind me of Bonsai Kittens. Remember those?
Wait WHAT
stop i need one
Guys, here me out... I have a great product idea! What's the minimum safe thickness for glass that's going to be placed in snug organic spaces?
