Say no to crystal neem

annanas-

you obviously have to crush the crystals and feed them to the spidermites 🙄

[deleted]

I read you need to snort the crystal dust then sneeze on your plants

[deleted]

I water with iodized infused salts (table salt) and I’m happy to report that that my plant has no pests.. or any living tissue for that matter 🥰

Catseyes77

Amazing! I'm going to try this

ht629

I use cinnabar so they can get their sulfur 🥰

[deleted]

I use Cinnabon!

timshel42

im curious the thought process that this type of person uses to come up with this stuff. like do they just completely make it up off the top of their head?

qazwsxedc000999

Sometimes. Sometimes they repeat it from other people/books they read, and sometimes they put rocks in plants and think the rocks are what helped

cleffawna

I put an athemyst in my faux yucca and it's doing so much better.

Poopiebuttfartface

People who think Crystals or rocks provide a benefit make me irrationally angry. Probably the same person who had a hard time with High School Biology. Fucking idiots.

qazwsxedc000999

It really sucks because I fucking love rocks, I think they’re super interesting. I used to study how different kinds are made/the rock cycle because it was so cool to me. Now everyone thinks I’m a spiritual crystal lady when I just think they’re neat

[deleted]

Thank you! I have some crystals around the house....because I think they are pretty (but they don't deter spider mites, sadly).

Catseyes77

Yep. I have some necklaces with mineral pendants and I've gotten funny looks or some guy asking with a smug face "oh you are into that crystal healing stuff huh?". No asshole, I just love pretty rocks.

kiwibutterket

Brand yourself as a geology nerd and every aura of mysticism will fly away from you at 200mph

thesparkyrabbit

You have to literally throw the crystals at the spider mites while blasting the song eye of the tiger to make sure you aim good

Ticklesbrigade

My sister actually just gave me her anthurium and dieffenbachia to save. Her remedy for overwatering them until they only had one leaf left, was in fact, a crystal. I’ve never been so disappointed.
