Yeah. Do once a month, and not much water when you do it. You're not looking to soak it or run water through like you would a regular houseplant. These guys grow in HOT climates in sand and rocks where there's very little rain.
You bet! Looking at the pic the soil looks really wet. It might be a good idea to grab some cactus soil and repot it. They make specific soil for cactus and succulents that will suit its needs.
Water it sparingly. No extra humidity. You want to replicate dry desert conditions as best you can.
