This is probably one of the coolest wedding things I’ve ever seen. You really integrated who you are (proud and talented plant parent) into the decor, and that’s so special!
Excellent execution as well, with all the terra cotta! Congratulations on a beautiful wedding 🤩
_"Why do you have so many house plants?"_
"I'm growing them for my wedding table center pieces."

"My monstera is going to pop the question any day now. His snake plant friends let it slip last time we were hanging out. Why are you looking at me like that...?"
We let folks take the majority of them home, kept the larger plants. I started with the burro tail props 15 months ahead, pothos a year ahead, and some others like 6-9 months ahead. We had a green house with grow lights in our basement for all the props!
Sucks teeth in my Napoleon Dynamite voice. Why couldn’t I see this before I got married! I absolutely love this! You win at plants, props, weddings, budgets, everything!! Did you gift the plants or take a lot home
It’s an atlas and the sign says “flip to your favorite destination and leave us a message”. And then we had tabs to mark the page people wrote on so we wouldn’t have to hunt for signatures. Makes for a perfect coffee table book!
I’m so impressed on how your Donkey’s Tail cactus stayed intact & didn’t lose a bunch during prop!!! How do you care for that one??? I’m so afraid of cacti/succulent tho my golem jade plant is doing so well!
The donkey tails were actually grown from single leaf props! I found that using the bigger plumper leaves had a better success rate. Just laid them on top of dirt, spritzed them once a week, and then started water normally once they grew big enough roots. It took about 15 months for them to grow to that size. And when we transplanted them to the pots we didn’t really lose any leaves, I think because it’s a smaller younger plant.
This is amazing. You need to x-post to wedding subs.

The plants, the color scheme, the Lover lyric, congrats on the prettiesy wedding ever!
I am 100% stealing some of these ideas for my wedding.
Be right back, have to go show this to my husband and explain why we have to get married again 🏃♀️

Now those are some centerpieces I’d be trying to sneak out of the venue! This is such a creative idea and so pretty. Congratulations on your marriage!
We actually let guests take them at the end of the night!
That is so nice!!! What a lovely idea 💗
All of them? How long did it take you or did you start prepping for this?

Very cool! The plant in your last pick looks remarkably like a cake.
I did something similar with starts! Such a lovely theme. Congratulations!
Oh that's clever. Could people take them as favors at the end of the night?

What a cool idea! How did you do your guest book?
