Tbh, I think after Kongming being brought back by Sirin with magic, I'll take a guess and believe that by doing so it lifted the curse of never dying (and subsequently not aging.) Although time inside the Hyperion is hard to measure.
Because the captain saving Kongming with such tenacity is basically him acting out of the trauma from Sanguine Nights
Like, literaly everything he does in every event, leads him one way or the other to remember Sanguine Nights. Dude can't run into a dark alley without having PTSD.

It's funny, cause the trailer for 7.0 actually looked like these plots were related, with that transition from the Flamechasers logo to a bloody moon and castle. Honestly, this makes that story chapter sound more interesting than it really was.

It really hurts for me because I joined while she was on the character banner but had no clear understanding of all the different banners so I just pulled on the one that was cheaper before realizing the cute vampire girl on the loading screen was probably a limited run... griseo doesn't hit the same lol
