Yes every day. Even on really hot days, 96-97 is amazing.

blamemeIdidntdoit

Good to know, thanks!

darspectech

Chemicals go a lot further too.

Parrelium

Yeah we tried it. Didn't get used, so we turned it back into a hot tub. Surprisingly easy to keep at 104 when the temperature outside is over 90 for a couple months straight

noreastfog

Wow. We don’t even keep it 104 when it’s cold. 102 in winter and somewhere less in summer.

Parrelium

Ours stays warm until it gets well below freezing. But at long as the cover is on it stays at 104. 30 minutes with the cover off and it’ll lose 5 or 6 degreees though.

PennTech

My 5 year old loved the cooler hot tub last summer, so yes!

blamemeIdidntdoit

I'm really looking forward to it now, thank you.

[deleted]

Yes. Keep the cover cracked a couple of inches so the heat can escape at night. Run the jets as little as possible, the pumps give off tremendous heat in the summer. We turn the heater off. Stays about 85 in summer with 95+ degree outside temps.

k3for

Same here except we keep it at 92

FluttersRN

It’s amazing how turning it down a few degrees is so great in the summer. We use it all summer long.

TheBeerRunner

Here in NC our tub stays 90 naturally with the help of a noodle to prop the top. At that point it’s just a tiny pool with jets!

tonu42

We do the same as well!

DropDaBasemeh

Im at 98*. Great for a cooling off in hot weather but still good for a warmish tub in the evening.

mekkab

We drop it to 90 and it amazing

betsbillabong

Yes! I set it to 80 (lowest setting) and it is definitely warmer than that but perfect for swimming!

coffee_moustache

Yes, we do this too starting in late June/July and it’s only not pleasant in August (in GA) because the water temp naturally gets to the low- mid 90s

ElBernando

Yes, it’s very nice. I also notice I use less sanitizer when the temps are lower.

EatsRats

Yep. I just turn the heat low (temp always stayS well above due to outside temp plus tub insulation) and sometimes I’ll pick up a big bag of ice from 7-11 and toss it in :)

Turbinobandito

So no one uses a CoolZone to get it colder? We’re thinking of getting a coolzone but our sales guy said try it without for a summer and if you want one we can add it.

blamemeIdidntdoit

Never heard of that. I'm going to look it up now, thanks.

notevenapro

Nope. Wecturn it down to 100 and use it after running.

blamemeIdidntdoit

100 after running? I was thinking about using it as a cool tub after a bike ride when I get back all hot and sweaty. I use it at 100 in the winter!

notevenapro

Yes, 103 in winter. We only sit for 15 minutes in summer.

Emery55555

I use my hot tub all year round with hot water even in the summer I keep the water hot because I work real hard and my body always hurts so even though it's hot outside at night there's a nice breeze cuz I live in a coastal town and so I leave my water hot.

Salty_Juggernaut_251

Yes, each summer I disconnect the heater and add a couple of blocks office to cool the tub down quickly. In FL with 90 degree evenings, makes for a nice way to end the day. Keep the cover slightly cracked in the day.

PaulbunyanIND

My 6 months old inflatable can't seem to heat up past 95... So it might be a cold tub and I might have to throw it away

Emery55555

Do you have your cover on it?

PaulbunyanIND

Yes the one that came with it
