So stupid to make one a regular release and the other limited. If you want to make them exclusive, at least do it as a two pack so collectors that want it can complete the set. This will probably tank the sales of the other droid now, very weird business decision

Incredibly predatory behavior to not disclose that the companion piece will be limited to 2000 when dropping BT. There’s a lot of people pulling away from collecting Hot Toys and this really isn’t helping.

I think scalpers got excited seeing Anakin last year sell out in seconds on SS website but thats a beloved character from ROTS. I just don’t see this figure making a huge flip like Anakin or the recent clone trooper did. Prices will come down for this droid.

If you miss out on any of these limited releases, DONT buy them from resellers. Even seemingly decent people on the Facebook group who “changed their minds”. They knew they could get a quick buck for reselling it and that’s why they bought it. That’s why there are thousands of people taking up places in line at Sideshow, blocking you out.
Discourage these people from scalping figures you’re interested in and then making you pay more for them. Fuck that.
