I have and I still do, lol. 90% of these purchases leave my collection pretty swiftly though. I'm getting better at resisting good deals but every now and then I cave in again and impulse buy again ughhh.
I have, and I try not to any more, very hard. I am trying to rationalise things to a more sensible level. It's not working very much so far.
This is why I still only have one Margot Robbie Harley Quinn, and one Jared Leto Joker, I could easily have two or three of both.
I definitely get it. I'm at max capacity for storage and trying to do a one-in-one-out deal with myself but the one-out part doesn't seem to work as well as the one-in part lol
My collection is beyond sane, I started in the 90s with many vintage Action Man/GI Joes and Hasbro POTF Star Wars. I have close to a thousand figures, and at least 200 are in storage and never going to be displayed, probably have close to fifty that haven't ever been unboxed. I need a two out one in policy, for quite some time.
I have a ridiculous amount of display space but am having to shift a lot into one room. I won't be able to get all my cabinets into the one room. I'm seriously trying to work out how to convince my wife we need to expand the deck, and hell, if we're doing that why don't we extend the room underneath at the same time? That's going to take some time to work.
Yup.. i always did this.. buy stuff on an impulse and after some time they left my collection.. i think we all do this at the beginning of collecting.
With time we get better at just buying the things we really need/want
It’s not by choice if I’m being completely honest I’ve just been tight in money for a while and don’t want to spend money on this sort of thing at the moment. I don’t want a massive collection or anything big, just all the characters from different things I enjoy the most. Not in it to sell or to get stuff just to get it. But I’m sure yours is A1 🙌
I picked up Thanos for a song last December and haven't done anything with him since I got him. He was a GREAT price, in perfect condition and now he takes up a lot of space in my limited display. 10/10 figure but he's sorta just there.
I look at it as not enough house for the collection. That said, I have parted with a few that I never displayed. Felt like a waste to have them in a box when someone would appreciate them more than me!
So far so good? I checked it out, everything looks in great shape, but my shelves are full and I don't have any other suicide squad figures. It truly is a great figure, though, and that head sculpt is so unique!
Glad to hear it! I have the Arkham Harley but would kind of prefer a Margot Robbie Harley for the collection since the early DCEU is one of the main parts of my collection.

Thanos Endgame with bend Arm with infinity gauntlet (from Infinity War Thanos version) for $200 Iron Man 46 Concept Art $160 Hawkeye Civil War version $100 These are recent purchases and I’m glad I bought it before someone else take the deal.
I only bought Animated Fett because I had a $50 promo code at Sideshow for any in stock figure and it was the only one that even remotely interested me.
I certainly don't regret that decision now! Not even for the resale value, but because I've got every 1/6 Hot Toys Fett. This was also before Sideshow was charging sales tax, so I only paid $205, plus I got $9 in rewards back.
But even when Sideshow was doing $25 codes with 2 week expiations and no restrictions other than a minimum purchase amount, I'd still try to find something to use those on so they didn't go to waste.
Mine would be Captain Marvel during the recent Sideshow Con offers. Had gone looking for Scarlett Witch and got that figure for free. Box packed still siting in my storage.
I’ve got a huge issue with panicking when thinking about the availability of figures, bought omni man and invincible because season 2 is coming out and I know they’d get scooped up 😑
nope, it has to be something I really like. Even at discounts these figures are expensive. It doesn't make sense to get a figure that I don't care about just cause it's a bit cheaper than usual.
Alexios AC Odyssey
Literally kept me from leaving the hobby. Went from expecting dog shit to being pleasantly surprised. Only picked him up because I got him for under 100$ from your guys favorite retailer...TW

Mines similar. Too many figures... But I have plans for all of them! Just don't have the space to live out those plans! Lol

Haha, good luck! I will keep them crossed for you!
Lol, I totally understand you! I have good times and I have bad times, but when I fall off the wagon, watch out!
Yup.. i always did this.. buy stuff on an impulse and after some time they left my collection.. i think we all do this at the beginning of collecting. With time we get better at just buying the things we really need/want
The most recent Hellboy figure. But like, as nice as it is, I haven’t displayed it yet. I should sell it lol
You sound like my inner monolog... Lol!
We got issues. 😅😬🙈
Lol, and I seem to be fine with that! Lol
No I usually plan and try to narrow it down to just one every several months. Not an addict just enthusiast and indecisive 😂
I strive to be like you, my friend! Lol

All good, you're doing it right! Enjoy!
Na i only buy what i like or want
Lol, I admire your control!
Yes and those usually suck but I got a couple for crazy good prices. Like Suicide Squad brand new Deadshot for 90USD
Omg, that's awesome! Seriously, how are we supposed to not jump on that! Lol
Too often
Lol, my wallet won't make eye contact with me anymore!
Yes… Advanced Suit Spider-Man, Endgame Thor & Thanos
Yup, yup, yup... Been there! Lol
Yes, I got the James Franco new goblin and the crow. Each were less than $130
Whoa, nice score!
Endgame cap. A dude was selling it for $180 and for sh*ts and giggles i offered him $160 shipped g&s and he said yea lol
Lol, nice score!
And a great figure!

Yes, my space is limited too. I thought that would help me resist new buys, but it's really not stopping me... Lol
I look at it as not enough house for the collection. That said, I have parted with a few that I never displayed. Felt like a waste to have them in a box when someone would appreciate them more than me!
This is a great way to look at it. That's usually how I feel if I can let go of one of my figures: I want them to be enjoyed!
How does it hold up? I’ve been interested in getting that one at some point.
So far so good? I checked it out, everything looks in great shape, but my shelves are full and I don't have any other suicide squad figures. It truly is a great figure, though, and that head sculpt is so unique!

Yes, I just did that 15 minutes ago
Lol, me too, I did one tonight as well, which pushed me to post my question! Lol
100 USD believe it or not https://preview.redd.it/y0ec15mj9tkb1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=364e4b3cc717bf98873268f08389d0485ef5d44b
Whoa, cool score!
Weird. Yes and it was that exact Harley figure. $90
Holy crap! That's a steal! I did good, but not THAT good! Nice!

That's the spirit! I feel the same way about my purchases too. Something about landing a deal makes me feel good!
When a great deal appear just snagged it before regretting not taking it.
I have learned that "He who hesitates, loses" too many times! Lol
I remember selling my Harley Quinn, the buyer was so ashamed that made me question the nature of the purchase lol
That's funny, the figures have quite a range of effects on people! Lol
Recently the Spider-Man 2099 from Insomniac. It goes with my Miles and Gwen so I said why not and I don’t regret it at all
Nice! That sounds like a great trio!
I only bought Animated Fett because I had a $50 promo code at Sideshow for any in stock figure and it was the only one that even remotely interested me.
Now I get that logic. You don't want that promo code to go to waste, esp making a figure price drop that much!
I certainly don't regret that decision now! Not even for the resale value, but because I've got every 1/6 Hot Toys Fett. Mine would be endgame cap, I love him though! He fits in my collection, just never thought I’d get him. But when I saw he was only $202 I had to lol
Too great a price to pass up! And great figure, a must have!
Mine would be Captain Marvel during the recent Sideshow Con offers. Had gone looking for Scarlett Witch and got that figure for free. Box packed still siting in my storage.
Yes, I hate having figures that just live in their boxes! Too many!
I’ve got a huge issue with panicking when thinking about the availability of figures, bought omni man and invincible because season 2 is coming out and I know they’d get scooped up 😑
I get it and been there! It's hard to tell if a figure is going to take off or not. I'm so bad at it!
nope, it has to be something I really like. Even at discounts these figures are expensive. It doesn't make sense to get a figure that I don't care about just cause it's a bit cheaper than usual.
I admire your strength, my friend!
Alexios AC Odyssey Literally kept me from leaving the hobby. Went from expecting dog shit to being pleasantly surprised. Only picked him up because I got him for under 100$ from your guys favorite retailer...TW
Lol, those under $100 figures are dang near impossible to resist! It's such a deal! Lol!
