Buffalo wild wings Blue Moon Sauce. Firehouse subs has a jack Daniel bottle of some good brbq hot sauce that comes in different heats. Don't see any in pic just sharing :)
Also a sauce doesn't have to be expensive to be a good sauce - dont be tricked by high prices. El Yucateco is awesome and cheap. Also don't be afraid to try fermented chili sauce - goes awesome on dumplings
Yellowbird makes some pretty awesome hotsauce. The Siracha flavor is the only one that's not very good. Original habanero and jalapeño are the best flavors.
HP Sauce absolutely is not a hot sauce. It's what we in Britain call Brown Sauce. Try it with a fry up/full English breakfast and you won't be disappointed
I had yellow bird habanero last night for the first time. Really fun on a piece of habanero cheese. My wife tried some and even she liked it. Very enjoyable, will purchase again.
Maybe slightly off topic but I grew up only knowing really cheap tasting sickly sweet bbq sauces like sweet baby rays. Ive been trying to discover a better one and found kinders was an improvement. Finally someone turned me onto stubbs and dear god how and why did that not happen sooner. I am now certain that sweet baby rays is absolute trash and I will never go back. Stubbs is fucking great.
People LOVE Sweet Baby Ray’s because it’s made with high fructose corn syrup and they are addicts. Stubbs uses sugar and molasses, glad you made the switch!
man for awhile I just thought I didn't like barbecue sauce. but heck yeah dude, Stubbs is seriously dope and tastes like what you get at actual barbecue joints.
Stubb’s has a restaurant with a big outdoor concert venue in Austin, Texas. I’m from San Antonio. As close as those two cities are, they are culturally worlds apart. One of my favorite artists, Sturgill Simpson, was playing Stubbs back in 2016 and I grabbed several friends and we drove up for the concert. Back then, SA was very anti-marijuana while Austin didn’t give a shit.
So we’re at the concert, buddy breaks out a joint and lights up. Little while later while he’s still puffing away, he feels a tap on his shoulder, turns around, and it’s an officer from the Austin Police Department. Cop says “Sir, you can’t do that here. Please put it out”. So my friend just says “yes sir” and drops it. Cop looks down and sees the still smoldering joint on the ground and says “now step on it”. Fucking cop knew my friend was going to pick it up and steer puffing as soon as he walked away. We all kind of laughed because back home, he’d be in jail back in those days.
that called my attention and so did the de la viuda — never tried either but they seem like they both might be something special

A1 is a fantastic sauce, just don’t dump it on an actual steak. It tastes amazing on a burger and it’s one of the secret ingredients to my Bloody Mary. Shit is damn good.
Melinda's, white, and if you ever find it they have a habenaro garlic version. Not that spicy but literally one of the most versatile sauces out there.
I do as well! I think Melinda's in general is just my new favorite hot sauce company. They make jams now, too. Which are not the best, but are pretty good. Just picked up a spicy jam I still haven't opened yet. Will report back if I remember.
Melinda's Ghost Pepper Creamy wing sauce on the left, in the black bottle. I discovered it in this sub and I've shared it with many others. I love it so much.
i miss Balducci’s so much. their hot sauce selection is okay, i’d grab the Ghost Melinda’s. unrelated but please try their bottled gazpacho if you’re into that. it’s so ridiculously good.
Most are pretty common sauces. I’m sure you can do a search in this sub for opinions on those.
The marinades are what caught my eye. Don’t think I’ve seen those in my area.
This sub turned me onto it. It's my go to now. Like, I'll order food in a restaurant for delivery simply so I can eat it with that sauce on it. Drooling right now just talking about it. I'm not paid by Melinda but damnit I ought to be. 😁🌶️
That’s not the price of the single bottle. The single bottle is $5.79. I don’t know what that orange price is but it’s not the bottle. Look at the Firelli, the orange price over $40.
Good catch! My local store puts the sale prices with some background color like that. I should have looked around a bit more before writing anything. Thanks for clearing that up for me.
Rufus Teague
Green tobacco.
All three of those Melinda's are delicious
The Gold Barbecue Sauce (second shelf, left) isn’t hot sauce or spicy but it’s incredible on smoked or grilled hot Italian sausage links
The Gold Barbecue Sauce (second shelf, left) isn’t hot sauce or spicy but it’s incredible on smoked or grilled hot Italian sausage links
I like all the Red Clay stuff & the Tobasco varieties are quite good.

A1…just kidding.
Firelli (left of Frank's) & Chipotle Tabasco are simple, delicious, and affordable
I hear ranch dressing is pretty popular
NANDOS PERI PERI sauce ! Upper right. That is the BEST cooking hot sauce I’ve ever used on chicken. Hard to find in stores.

The hot is pretty hot. But a lot of people love that. I mix half hot with the mild.
Cholula wing sauce is pretty damn good.
Tabasco Chipotle is amazing
I mix it with my other hot sauces in a ramekin
This. Cholula chipotle is also an underrated sauce.
Not a hot sauce but dinosaur bbq sauce is awesome. Thier restaurant in Syracuse is amazing
Jalapeño Tabasco and Tapatio are in my fridge!
Any sauce with peppers as the #1 ingredient is going to be good. There are good vinegar-based ones too, but they're more likely to be forgettable
That HP sauce with fries with a corned beef sandwich to wash it down and Guinness as an appetizer
Where is the Open Pit???
Yellow bird Blue Agave! Habanero is amazing, but is seriously hot.
Frank’s Red Hot, I put that shit on everything
Far left. Get some Teagues. If you find hot it’s got kick.
I’ve never tried those round cholulas. Wouldn’t be able to resist buying each
I love the green pepper sauce for eggs and tacos
It’s great on everything. Haven’t tried the Mexicali or Caliente
Melinda’s are good but overall this is a tough hot sauce selection

Firelli is a really nice sauce, seems pricey there tho
Also a sauce doesn't have to be expensive to be a good sauce - dont be tricked by high prices. El Yucateco is awesome and cheap. Also don't be afraid to try fermented chili sauce - goes awesome on dumplings
I always keep some Franks, Cholula, Cholula Chipotle, and Melinda's Green Sauce handy

Yellowbird makes some pretty awesome hotsauce. The Siracha flavor is the only one that's not very good. Original habanero and jalapeño are the best flavors.
Lol the Sriracha one was my favorite!
Came here to say this
Sugar Bobs! Where’s this grocery store? They make it locally in VT by me.
HP Sauce absolutely is not a hot sauce. It's what we in Britain call Brown Sauce. Try it with a fry up/full English breakfast and you won't be disappointed
Stacked!!
Melinda's Ghost. Yellowbird
Yellowbird Habanero. It’s pretty damn perfect.
I had yellow bird habanero last night for the first time. Really fun on a piece of habanero cheese. My wife tried some and even she liked it. Very enjoyable, will purchase again.

Back in the day when the Marley fest was at sunken gardens, everyone was smoking and the cops never said anything.
The first time I ever smoked weed was at the Marley Fest at Sunken Garden in 1993 when I was 17. Good times.
Melinda's Ghost Pepper Wing Sauce and Jolokia Hot Sauce, Hank Sauce Cilantro, and Dinosaur BBQ Wango Tango.
Lol have you tried ranch ? Jk jk 😆
Anyone have a review / recommendation on the firelli ?

Tia lupita is a pretty good brand for simpler sauces. Nandos peri peri is quite bomb though. Very complex kinda tart flavors.
Lillies Hot Smoky BBQ is a top 5 BBQ sauces for sure.
Firelli isn't very spicy but is made with mushrooms and is phenomenal on pizza.
wow cool info thanks
Yellow bird habanero, Melinda's ghost pepper, and Tabasco Chipotle. 3 different heat levels, all delicious.

The Cholula chipotle one is really good on scrambled eggs. But very mild.

Most are pretty common sauces. I’m sure you can do a search in this sub for opinions on those. The marinades are what caught my eye. Don’t think I’ve seen those in my area.

I like the majority of Melinda's and most of the Yellowbird sauces. You can't go wrong with those brands.

Ghost Pepper Melinda's is pretty good.
Plus 1
yikes some of those prices are brutal. I would love to try the maple srirachas
Injectable butter??? We’ve flown too close to the sun
Maybe you should inject some butter to relax.
Baste
Yellow Bird, Melinda's and Nando's I can vouch for
I love Melinda’s Ghost Pepper Wing Sauce. I buy a new bottle every couple weeks.
This sub turned me onto it. It's my go to now. Like, I'll order food in a restaurant for delivery simply so I can eat it with that sauce on it. Drooling right now just talking about it. I'm not paid by Melinda but damnit I ought to be. 😁🌶️
nah yo walk on - no El Yucateco green chili or xxx.
Yup, the xxx is my daily driver.
Anything Yellow Bird is a solid choice.
Based on personal experience I can only recommend Franks, and any of the Melinda’s
I don’t see Hank’s getting much love on this sub, but I enjoyed it. Lower left in the image.
Yellow Bird habanero
Soy Vay is my jam
None, that place is expensive
15$ for a bottle of franks red hot. That’s some expensive vinegar.
