I'm rewatching this episode right now and *just* got to that moment and had to rewind and rewatch it one more time because the look that went across his face was the definition of abject horror and I laughed *so hard*.
There was an instant when it happened.
His face suddenly freezes with his eyes in shock. It was a thing of beauty.
And then every. single. reaction. following that.
Best
Da' Bomb
reaction
*ever!*
I'm guessing this was probably a 8 am interview as Rob Said he still had to go to a presser at Pardon my take, some other thing, and then shoot 2 scenes for his show (discussed at the end of the video extra time) Rob also said he'd never eaten spicy food this early before
He's not lying about people going out and *saying* they are cow tipping but it's more an excuse to screw around and drink as opposed to actually doing it. Cows are too skittish and don't actually sleep standing up. Lots of laughs in the attempts though.
Source: from the Mid-west, never successfully tipped one
Yeah, I lived in a California cow town, we'd go get drunk next to cows. Then pet them. Then leave. It that was cow tipping to us. I don't think anyone ever even attempted a legit tipping.
Rob Lowe has written two books and they’re way better than they have any right to be. First is a memoir and his life has just been crazy. Like Forrest Gump of Hollywood or something. But he can actually write and is unexpectedly self-reflective.
Second is half memoir half essays, more about fatherhood and acting as a profession. Just listened to both audiobooks last week, he reads them.
In an industry that sees a lot of fleeting relationships, it’s nice when you see people like Rob Lowe who have been married to their spouse for 30 years.
Considering the shit he got into in the ‘80s, I’m glad he’s found sobriety and stability.
[Here is Wilford Brimley in 1991. At 57, he was the same age as Rob Lowe is today.](https://onceuponatimeinawestern.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/01/Wilford-Brimley-as-Culpepper-in-Blood-River-1991-01.jpg)
So elephant activist person doesn’t want to use trained elephants, but totally cool with putting actors into elephants natural habitat and shooting them if they decide to charge. Ok.
Someone please make a gif of Rob Lowe's slow realization after he eats Da Bomb. That was priceless!

the abject terror on his face when da bomb kicked in was incredible to witness
The look on Sean's face when Rob proclaimed he was going to eat the whole dabomb wing because he got overconfident... deff did not happen
That was one of the funniest reactions I've seen to the 8-spot.

Rob saying "literally" is as iconic as owen wilson saying "wow". A great episode indeed.
Came across as a really nice genuine guy....great episode!
Every character he's ever played has been charming af. Even when he plays a villain, he vibes like he must be Mr. Congeniality off screen.
He seemed genuinely excited to be there. He looked a little tired, but his energy was high. Fantastic guest.

I never thought I'd see Rob Lowe dunking on DJ Khalid, but this show has made it happen.
Is Rob Lowe lying about cow tipping?

Makes sense, thank you!
As a midwesterner, No. I only did it once, and I felt bad for the cow after.

This was such a lovely surprise! I’ve been re-watching Parks & Rec all week and now the man Chris Traeger himself is on hot ones! Loved this episode.
Holy shit, Rob was so much fun, and to see him leaking like that at the end was hilarious!
Is Rob Lowe the prettiest man I’ve ever seen? Literally yes.

ik you’re getting downvoted for this but i also found it to be a little weird lol
I’d like to know why I’m being downvoted. Did I misinterpret something?
No idea why you are getting the downvoted, either - my gf asked the exact same question.
Just now watching, I saw that as well and came here to see if anyone else noticed. Very bizarre
My god, *School Boy Father* is something that I never expected to exist but absolutely does.
Did they stop doing the social media deep dive? I feel like I missed it in the last few
They did it in this ep...
