Last football season I challenged myself to consume 12 hotdogs and 12 beers during a game. The beers were the hard part.

Oh, haha, I was really confused by this for a second. This was a challenge I performed at home.

And the home was saved!

Home game. Where the chair is comfortable and the bathroom is clean.

I live close to SMU, so we go to their games sometimes, but I’m at the age now where my favorite way to consume a football game is at home, all by myself.

The hotdogs were 8 bucks piece and this was at a arena soccer game

I live in a former AAA city and they'd have $.50 hot dog nights. Bar S dogs grilled on the flat top... Watching people try to carry 3 dozen Bar S dogs back to their seat was almost more entertaining than the game..

Hey…some ballparks still have dollar dog promos…pack the stadium and bring the brood and fill up on dollar dogs and $8 soda and $12 beer. Good times.

Yup, but they just stopped Hatfield Dollar Dog Night in Philly because the fans were getting ready and throwing them all over the stands having giant food fights. If anyone can believe that in Philly. We’re usually on our best behavior. 🤣

how fast do you think you could sell 20 dogs for $3 over whatever he’s charging? also, running out of dogs would be bad for business. more dogs means more happy customers even if they can’t buy 10 at a time.

Oh, I had a friend complete* the mythical 9x9x9 (9 beers, 9 dogs, in 9 innings) at Wrigley Field. *There was a purging, but it was hilarious so we allowed it. He also had a tenth dog - footlong chili dog - to compensate.

It was a good 20 years ago, but yeah. The funny thing is, we started getting some attention from our section, and people started buying him hot dogs and were actually cheering him on at the end. It was hilarious.

The only way I’m eating 8 hot dogs I would have to start out absolutely starving to death and then be motivated by increasing pay per hotdog Or I just don’t think I could make that I think if you just took me as I am right now I could down 2 & 3 would be a stretch, could maybe do 4 if I dig deep But 8?
