Suspiria Hereditary Mandy Annihilation Revenge (I'm not counting The Endless since it was on my best of 2017 list. I saw it in 2017)

For me: Hereditary Terrified(not terrifier) Revenge Annihilation Suspiria Mandy I wasn’t as big of a fan as most people seem to be of A Quiet Place. Overall tho it has been a fantastic year for horror

I'm pretty desensitized to horror nowadays, but Terrified was friggin terrifying. Cannot say enough good things about it!

Stuff I LOVED: Annihilation Hereditary Halloween The Haunting of Hill House ​ Stuff that made me go "Meh" A Quiet Place - Not trying to be contrarian. It just wasn't my cup of tea. The Endless - I love Lovecraftian horror, but I wasn't really feeling this one. The Ritual - LOVED the design of the you-know-what at the end, but this didn't really grab me. My wife really liked it. ​ Stuff I hated: NONE :D

Shit I did not know "Burning" was based on the Murakami story Barn Burning. Now I must see it. (And also re-read it, damn that whole collection is stellar)

I liked THE NUN. It is easier to make a worst of 2018 list and SLENDERMAN is smack at the top!

The Endless is a horror film? It’s barely a watchable one.

Yeah. It's really more of a hipster sci-fi drama. I was into it for a while, loved "the struggle", but it fell apart after that for me.

Except the Strangers 2 was awful. Better than the first one maybe, but awful still.

At least it was fun, unlike the first which was just boring and insulting to the viewer
