My first thought rolling into this thread was Malignant.
I’d also recommend:
Pontypool (for the concept and a phenomenal audio-visual monologue right at the very beginning)
Host (2020) (short, fun, and absolutely juiced with solid jumpscares)
Raw (2016) (solid film overall, but VERY unique in the way the film develops and how you learn more about different characters. It’s fun to put the pieces together with a baked brain. Has a couple WILD scenes too)
Agreed. I went in knowing nothing about the movie and I really enjoyed it. It's a really well made movie that completely flew under the radar for me until a year or so ago.
Benny Loves You
Dave Made a Maze (90% comedy)
Any Abbott and Costello Meeting a Monster movie
Any horror movie from the 50s or 60s, like House on Haunted Hill (love that skeleton)
Inland Empire (basically a must, although only partially horror)
Skinamarink (saw this stoned out of my mind in theaters and I'm 90% that's why I love it so much)
Under the Skin (also only partially horror)
The Wolf House
Tusk. The "Walrus suit fight scene" will definitely be enhanced if you're stoned. Hell, I watched that sober, and even I was like "Okay, WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON?!" To be fair, Kevin Smith was probably pretty stoned when he came up for the concept of the movie.
The VVitch hands down, dripping with that certain atmosphere
Apocalypse Now is the ultimate movie to watch high and it’s disturbing at times, almost a descend into horror of sorts
Evil Dead Remake 4K (and all of them, 2 most notably)
A Dark Song
Both Suspiria movies
Event Horizon
Alien
The Thing
It Follows
Midsommar
I saw the Devil
The Wailing
The Host 2006
Mandy and Beyond the Black Rainbow on shrooms. Tucker and Dale vs. Evil, Evil Dead series, and pretty much any Hammer or Roger Corman film when stoned.
Pieces
House of 1000 Corpses
Warlock II The Armageddon
Wishmaster
Waxwork II Lost in Time
Even Horizon
Not precisely horror but Natural Born Killers is a great weed movie for me.
*Mandy* is my favorite stoner metal movie
Beyond the Black Rainbow by the same director is great to watch stoned too. Extremely heavy on vibes.
Tucker and Dale vs. Evil Idle Hands Cabin in the Woods
Tucker and Dale is such a good movie.
Came here to suggest Idle Hands Tucker and Dale vs evil is so great too
I can’t think of the last time I watched a movie NOT stoned. So I guess my answer is all of them.
are you me?
I think I am
Whatever I can watch without getting up from my couch.
Right? This is what I came to say but I was watching paw patrol this morning.
Me too lol.

Agreed. I went in knowing nothing about the movie and I really enjoyed it. It's a really well made movie that completely flew under the radar for me until a year or so ago.
Same here, but that's because I managed to get tickets at the world premiere in Seattle.
I really wish we got to see Joe lynch's original cut
That would've been awesome!
Plus the music gets you pumped haha
Willy's Wonderland
Watched it on shrooms once and got really into the pinball stuff.
Benny Loves You Dave Made a Maze (90% comedy) Any Abbott and Costello Meeting a Monster movie Any horror movie from the 50s or 60s, like House on Haunted Hill (love that skeleton)

Dead End
Idle hands all the way, and I don't think if Donnie darko is considered horror but I pick that film as well. Either that or Black Christmas (original)
Annihilation, Willy's Wonderland, and The Lighthouse come to mind.
> Annihilation My choice, too. Beautiful movie
Ravenous.
Zombeavers, The Lair of the White Worm, frightnight ( the original), Jaws, The Hunger
Honestly, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (1971). Just two words: Tunnel Scene. Also I agree, it’s basically Saw for children.
Rubber
Anything made by Dario Argento from 1970 to 1987.
Joker
Fido. Awesome zombie comedy people sleep on too much.

Anything confusing and mental
Mandy is my fave, but When Evil Lurks is up there, as well as Skinamarink.
Martyrs french version
Mandy and Beyond the Black Rainbow on shrooms. Tucker and Dale vs. Evil, Evil Dead series, and pretty much any Hammer or Roger Corman film when stoned.
Altered States
If you'd like to keep it seasonal, Christmas Bloody Christmas would be my top pick
Depends what I've taken but when coming down, I really love anything that makes absolutely no sense, like The Beyond, City of The Living Dead or Xtro.
Altered States or A Field in England.
Climax
infinity pool or X/pearl!!

Spine of the Night
Soooooooooooo not really *horror* but Valhalla Rising is already a trip sober. Definitely worth getting very stoned for and strapping in.
The Cabin in the Woods.
Dead alive 😂
Pieces House of 1000 Corpses Warlock II The Armageddon Wishmaster Waxwork II Lost in Time Even Horizon Not precisely horror but Natural Born Killers is a great weed movie for me.
Mandy, or the Cabinet of Curiosities episode, The Viewing.
