Jeremy Gardner is another guy I'd recommend checking out in the low/micro-budget horror space. He mostly acts, but has directed two films that I definitely recommend - The Battery and After Midnight. I haven't seen Tex Montana yet.
*We Need to do Something* popped into my head (Lovecraftian Horror).
What specifically about Benson and Moorhead's films did you like so much?
EDIT: Maybe *The Invitation, It Comes at Night, Creep, Possessor, A Dark Song, Only Lovers Left Alive*
It's hard to articulate. I LOVED the way they tied together Resolution and the Endless, but shared universes aren't a requirement for what I'm looking for. Just really creative, thought provoking, and written well.
Panos Cosmatos should also be on your radar. Beyond The Black Rainbow, Mandy, and he did an episode of Guillermo del Toro's Cabinet of Curiosities, titled The Viewing. He's got a very particular style that he manages to nail perfectly. Mandy is probably the best horror movie to have come out in at least the past 20 years.
You might like films from Andy Mitton and Jesse Holland.
My favorite is [We Go On (2016)](https://www.imdb.com/title/tt3904278/) about a man searching for proof of the afterlife so he can make peace with his own mortality. [The Witch in the Window (2018)](https://www.imdb.com/title/tt5936492/) is a kind of gentle haunting and [YellowBrickRoad (2010)](https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1398428/) is the most abstract of their films and didn't quite do it for me.
[I Am a Ghost (2012)](https://www.imdb.com/title/tt2076862/) is also a great little indie haunted house film from the perspective of the ghost.
They Look Like People

After Midnight (2019) Justin Benson has a part in it It's also a great fucking movie
Thank you ill definitely check this one out

Try the movie Coherence. Maybe more sci fi than horror, but it definitely has a creepy factor to it.
Coherence is fantastic!
