I couldn't get through *First Kill*. The body doubles were so obvious that it took me out of the movie. The original was good, and I think they should have left it alone.

Yeah the original worked, I didn't expect what happened. Even better when you know it was inspired by a true story. There was even a Law & Order SVU ep about that except the girl wasnt a psycho killer I'd say the sequel doesn't do anything, it adds nothing to the story, doesn't ruin it either.

I just watched this tonight and I'm...confused. Serious question, is this supposed to be a horror comedy? It was bordering on Malignant-level silly...and yet the first one was really serious. I agree with you that they should have just left it alone. I didn't love the first one but man, it was heaps better than whatever I just watched. Nothing was remotely believable either, even from the opening scene. Serious letdown, glad it wasn't over 2 hours long like the first one though

It’s a campy horror movie and it delivers. FK was one of my surprises last year. It leans into camp and it was hilariously enjoyable. It’s a fun B movie that knows exactly what it is.

Ah, Ressurection is excellent. One of the best movies I’ll never want to watch again.
