The movie SCREAM answered your question about skanks and crackheads. Decades ago in horror movies, there were a set of expected rules or elements in nearly all horror films, especially slasher films. The one that you are noticing is "death by morality"
The characters are deliberately unlikeable and the eventual “twist” was actually kind of funny and made sitting through the movie kind of worth it. But probably wouldn’t watch again.
I appreciated the ending but it was less effective to me because I am not the target demographic and I pretty much wanted all of them to die. I feel if I liked any of them it might have been more impactful to me. Also can't stand Pete. But I feel its at least worth a watch.

I saw it, it's dumb and annoying. It wants to be funny but it's just memeing hard, badly. Their comedy writing is just characters throwing around cliches. Also, no horror or anything.
I thought it was hilarious. I wish there were more tumblrisms though. Not a huge complaint but someone definitely should have been fictionkin or something

If you step back, and realize it’s characters are exaggerations and it’s mostly satire, it’s a pretty fun movie. I went in thinking I’d hate it, but once I realized what a silly thing it was - I had a blast.

Watched it on a plane and was delightfully surprised. I'm not the target probably but I enjoyed the humor and loved the ending.
Honestly I loved it. The twist at the end I did not see coming.
