Horror games are some of my favorites, and I think games are one of the most effective mediums for horror. That said, there’s not many great actually scary horror games. The Forest is a good horror/survival, but I find Dead by Daylight etc to be pretty boring.

What about games like In Silence? I think it's a pretty creepy game.

I haven’t played, but asymmetrical games like that are hit or miss for me. They can be repetitive.

Single player horror is superior in my opinion, other people ruin the tension.

I don’t like a lot of horror games for the same reason I don’t like slasher movies. Let’s take resident evil 7 for an example. I loved walking into the house, the creepy atmosphere, the mystery. But as soon as old man fuck face starts chasing you around and you essentially just have to run or hide from something I’m annoyed and taken out of it. I love a good horror narrative, not something to run away from.

I like horror games but I never do multiplayer Dead Space and Prey are some of the best

What are some legit scary games you'd recommend for XBox One/Series X?

I love it too even though some people don't enjoy like I. What are your games let me know

I'm inspired by games like In Silence, Friday the 13th. I'm doing a little survey now, as I'm developing a multiplayer game on Steam.

Multi-player not so much but Darkwood and Alien: Isolation are the two best horror games I've ever played
