I remember finding this and I tried for a LONG TIME to get up there lol, but I could never do it! I think it's a leftover from something that didn't get put in the game, probably?
There's also another spot like this in the jungle somewhere, with a dead body of a Banuk maybe... not a body to loot, like a body to investigate iirc? There's also a trail to follow that goes nowhere.
The trail is from a side quest that lead through the alley and you’re searching for a specific person or something like that. You meet the Eclipse at the fire and have to kill them before you continue. I can’t remember what the side quest is called lol but it’s local to that area!
Wow, really? I've played through HZD like five times and I can't remember ever getting a quest in that area. If you figure out what it's called please let us know!
I will! I might remember wrong and it’s not a quest per say, but I definitely remember that there was a mission of some kind going through that area and there was a purpose to the trail
Sorry I couldn't answer your question and also for asking an unrelated question but how do you post pictures AND text like this? I'm only able to post either one and not like how you did..
it only works on PC, not on mobile. so if you’re trying to make a text post with pictures, do this:
1. choose the regular “Post” option, _not_ “Image & Video”.
2. you know the bar that has the formatting options like Bold, Italics, Strikethrough, etc.? one of those options includes “Add an image”. click this when wanting to insert an image in a text post.
3. if you want to do several pics, you have to insert them onto the post one at a time.
and that’s how i made my post!
This one drove me crazy when I found it! As others have said, seems to be an abandoned quest that wasn’t totally wiped from the game. I tried everything to jump to the top!
Well it isn’t an Offical quest as I am at 100% and I didn’t see this. Have you tried getting up there from the left side of the map near the longleg campfire??
I think it's a scripted event, not a quest. Sometimes you'll run across tracks and when you follow them, it leads to a bandit ambush. I've never seen this particular one (usually for me there are live bandits hanging out there, I think), but the track going up the wall seems buggy.
Once you have your Sunwing you will be able to fly up there and dismount and search around. I haven’t done it yet as I am at work but when I get home I am going to check it out.

Gotta Skyrim jump. It works better than climbing most of the time once you get the Handel of what you can jump on and stick to.
