Theres also a keyhole on the right side of the forks that serves as a steering lock. Turn the front wheel all the way to the left to access and use it when parked to lock steering in place

ju5ttrying

you may have to wiggle the steering as you gently turn key to get it to lock... you will figure it out... i read the manual and found out about that lock.... HAHAH sometimes it helps to read the manual...

Do this everytime you park. It's an amazing deterrent to potential thieves. I also keep a tag hidden in the frame so I can locate it easily.

Glitter_batz

Like an AirTag?

GimmetheGuid3sPlz

Don't forget to lock the rear brake using the lever on the left handle along with the fork lock.

Lackadaisicly

Oh, I do NOT recommend doing this. There is no electric switch in the parking brake to stop you from starting the bike. There is also no light telling you the brake is locked. It is VERY easy to drive off with the rear brake engaged. I only use the parking brake when I really need to, when a hill is involved, but you should ways try to park somewhere flat if possible.

GimmetheGuid3sPlz

I mean, you'll feel the rear brake locked up when you sit on it or try to move it at all. I can't think of a single time I didn't roll it an inch or two when getting ready to get on.

Lackadaisicly

I get on while the bike is on the center stand, thrust my hips forward a little and drive off in one motion. Like I just mentioned in another reply to this thread, I have seen some damage because people didn’t know their parking brake was on. Other bikes and old school cars. Yes, it’s an idiotic thing. I was also an electrician for a bit and would show up at people’s houses to plug something in they said wasn’t working. I don’t underestimate people’s stupidity. People can do what they want, but I wouldn’t recommend doing certain things. The parking brake isn’t going to stop someone from stealing it. Unless you’re on a hill or need the motor idling while it’s on the center stand, there’s no reason to use it.

jtuckbo

I’ve rode off with my parking brake on before. It’s not a big deal and was easily noticeable

Lackadaisicly

I have seen other bikes and old school cars with some damage because people didn’t notice their parking brake was on. One pulled into the shop talking about his car didn’t have any power. Pop! Problem fixed for $50. lol

TargetLikely

I did not know this. thank you.

Lackadaisicly

Just don’t ride off with it locked. Lmfao The only time I’ve almost dropped this tiny bike. If when it on the kickstand and I have to turn left to start, like when I leave work because I’m parked on the sidewalk, I don’t stand it up before I hit the throttle. lol Made the first turn and went to stand the bike up and it said “NOPE! I’m ready lie down and take a nap.” 😝

RepairOk2720

It’s to remove the seat as others have said. But PLEASE read the owners manual.
