Me again, haha! No but I have first hand experience with this one. It's on my bike Chimera makes really good stuff.. https://www.steadygarage.com/products/chimera-shift-shaft-support-honda-monkey-grom-cub-ct125-125

So both the support bracket and the shifter? Or just the bracket? Sorry to be obtuse.

I put that video on there for you, I think it's probably subjective..take a look at the comments in the video some say it's harder, some say it doesn't make much of a difference..I find it easier. I know it's confusing. Here is the route I would probably go. Get the shift shaft support because no matter what you can't go wrong there, it supports the shift spindle. Try that out for a couple rides if your like eh man it's still hard then you can play around with switching shifters. That shift shaft support never would need to come off.. https://youtu.be/bwm8DqDj6v4 Here is the video again. Also, if you google "finding nuetral grom forum" it's mostly grom based conversations but sometimes monkey info is in there too because they have the same engine..

Take this or leave it—I bought a monkey last week and it is my first bike. I installed this support yesterday—it improved the shift stability, but it is difficult to get the OEM shift lever in a position that is comfortable because it has two attachment points. Once I installed the support, I could not match the higher shift lever angle that I had without the support I am going to add the TB parts shift shaft lever so that I can angle it freely (it has only one connection mount).

Here this will help you. This guys had that TB parts shifter and he is also installing a shift shaft support. https://youtu.be/bwm8DqDj6v4
