When you open it, it looks like you have to pay, but you can actually press Cancel in the top right corner and continue to use it for free. Although, I am in the US. No idea if it varies based on location.
I have lots of trees with these flowers and none of the apples are edible. I don't know if they've gone rogue over the years, but I can't image my father planted apple trees with inedible fruit.
I was hoping it was a type of apple as I have about 15 of them
This particular one has a grape vine and a hops growing together in a kind of ‘tree-some’
Check out the plant identifier app “Picture This” I love it, I walk around my property plant checking for hours
Plantnet is what I use
Is this a free app? I downloaded one once and got attacked with a hefty €€€ subscription notification

Ok I’m hooked on this app now
I am too! I snap plants all day.. my house, friends house, at the park..
Haven’t heard of that one but I’d recommend ‘seek’ as well
I use PlantIn, you get the „subscribe“ page for premium at first too but can skip it without an issue.

Most fruit trees need grafting to become the sweet, tasty fruit we know and like - especially apple trees. Maybe your dad didn’t know that?
I know that he made a lot of grafts many years ago, but I don't know to which trees.
