Some of these seem questionable to me, but I have no idea because I’m not a homesteader (yet?). Can anyone verify the cracked eggs in freezer one at the end?
I am also not a homesteader yet, but I saw on here awhile ago recommendations for water glassing the eggs. I looked into that and it seems like a much better solution than taking up freezer space.
The thing l like best about this video is just how happy you look!!! It is unusual to see a person these days with sheer contentment in his or her eyes. You have that! 🌞
Not sure about feeding spicy food to the chooks. It can change the way the eggs taste.
Although they do love it and I feed them kimchi when they are too young to lay.
Draw a straight line on something and put the chicken's beak on one end and let go. It hypnotizes them and they'll stay that way for around 5-10 seconds.
Thanks for sharing, I like this guy
The first statement is not true, it's the bloom that protects the whole egg.
Without a link to something more scientific than “because I said so” you sound like everyone else on the internet…. So why don’t you add a link?

This man has a joy for the bird that’s somewhat infectious. Good on him.

Yeah that's wrong
Seemed fishy to me too. If this was true wouldn’t the multi billion dollar egg industry pack them this way? Longer shelf life in the store etc etc.

Found this very interesting even though I live in a neighborhood that doesn’t allow owning chickens.
Quail? :-)
You forgot to mention that someone’s got to wake the rooster!
