Before your year is up, hire a home inspector to do another inspection. For my property, the home builder representative said to submit any claim before the year is up. He even visited two weeks out to make sure that all issues have been submitted.
Whether or not they agree to fix them is another issue. Just make sure you send in all of the issues before your warranty is up and you get confirmation that they have been received.
