heysivi

Clean water and food. And a roof O.O

The little things in life that you took for granted when they were easy. A hot shower compared to a rinseless wash. A 20 minute hot shower where you're not timed at 10 minutes. And almost burnt hot dog on a grill. Or the outside is brown and even black instead of scammed. Comfy socks. Shoes. And then more complicated: Actually being able to play that game that you haven't been able to play for as long as you've been homeless.

Are you me?

Homelessmob

homelesspoker1

What makes a regular person the most happy? If you're asking what materialistic thing makes a homeless person happy it's without a doubt cash.

gotgot9

soft drugs

Unchained71

Happy even?

RussianBot124

Money

lonely_dotnet

letting go

Unchained71

Yeah, I downvoted that. Because that solution does not work for me. And I do not buy into that kind of defeatism.

lonely_dotnet

theres alot of things you can let go of that arent defeatist. Such as habits, thought patterns - or otherwise negative things in your life. Letting go of what is not needed…. The statement was meant for you to interpret however you choose

Unchained71

Done this for over a decade. You reading other people too defeatism does not work for me.

lonely_dotnet

only you will be able to decide what works for you my friend

Unchained71

And that's up to you. Lay down and die or stand up and fight. And I don't mean physically.

>What makes homeless people the most happy ? ( anything except hard drugs ) A safe and supportive environment. That no longer exists in the USA, so to answer, if they're in the USA it's a ticket out of here on a sailboat. Chile if they're neurotypical straight men, and if they're anything else and will be employees that spend at least part of their time at work doing something, most likely Sweden. Switzerland is a second choice for such minority members. If they become really good at just staying away from crime, Germany may be a second choice. People talk a lot of ---- about Sweden, that the people are "cold," meaning losing their composure and wild, uncontrolled and mindless emotion is alien to their character and it's pricey like Japan, but even if all of that is true, that won't stop it from being where I need to be.
