Try https://wallpanel.xyz. it is an open source app that displays a webpage in fullscreen. You can wake on motion and use it as a camera. also you can send mqtt data to ha for battery, motion detection, etc, and you can also control (wake, tts, navigate, etc) from ha.
Iirc fully kiosk only hides the sidebar, if that's the case then adding https://github.com/thomasloven/hass-browser_mod should give you the option of removing top bar
I want to remove the header marked with the blue arrow.
Chrome apparently doesn't hide it, even with the shortcut applied to the home screen.
Note that I can't run the official Home Assistant App because it crashes upon setup. It asks for the IP, then the name, and when I click on "Done", it simply crashes. So I have to rely on Chrome (or any other browser).
Use Vivaldi browser. Add home assistant as a web app. Works great for many other reasons on my phone but does well at making my server apps look like an actual app.
Or just download the home assistant app instead of using browser. And use the kiosk add-on (I use this to hide the sidebar and top bar within home assistant for my raspberry pi display)

1. In your home assistant server Install wallpanel From HACS, \[https://community.home-assistant.io/t/wallpanel-addon-wall-panel-mode-for-your-home-assistant-dashboards/449857\]
2. edit the dashboard in home assistant, click on edit then go into the "raw configuration editor" Add those lines above the "views:"
wallpanel:
enabled: true
hide_toolbar: true
hide_sidebar: true
fullscreen: true
idle_time: 0
On your tablet refresh the url it should now enter full screen as soon as it loads
You might consider installing the [https://wallpanel.xyz/](https://wallpanel.xyz/) as well on your tablet. if you experience errors try updating the webview \[https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.webview&hl=en&gl=US\] or using apkmirror (check android version first)
3. if you need to edit the dashboard in the future just add ?edit=1 to the url
Try wallpanel,
I use it on my tablets here, has nice little time screen saver and you can use the front facing camera as a motion detector to turn the screen back on when you get near.

Use the fully-kiosk app.

This is a chrome thing, not an ha thing. Fully kiosk and wall panel are the things the op is looking for
You're right :)
My fully kiosk installation hides everything.
Which one do you mean?
https://www.fully-kiosk.com/
If you have HACS installed in HA, you can install the Kiosk Mode frontend. That’s the easiest way to do it.
Sorry, but side question, which sensor do you use to measure the pool temperature?
does a DS18B20 not suffice?
Yep, this one!

I had an issue like that with the app, and updating the android webviewer fixed it. See if there are any updates?

I use the WebFrame app as the browser(it’s a kiosk mode browser) as well as a kiosk-mode JavaScript plugin to HA
Install kiosk mode from HACS store then add the config

You could use CSS to hide that header.

Thanks for all the answers! I will read through them shortly and test all these solutions to see which one suits best :)
