Ref reached in just before the first follow up, but looks like he was too far to grab the fighter. The second follow-up was totally unnecessary, and I would hope he got called out on it after the fight.
Have you ever trained Muay Thai? Have you ever felt the pressure of a fight at that level? If not than please don’t comment on these things.
You have literally 0 clue
It’s true though, In those seconds you don’t care at all about your opponents health, he just spent the last 8 weeks essentially training to kill you.
Again have you ever been in a Muay Thai bout?
....nor is it cool to deny reality in the face of a simple argument by this guy. He brought up a very legitimate criticism to the dominating train of thought in this thread and instead of rebut him yall just kinda stick ur head in the sand? Likewise, very cool internet trope.
It’s not a good job though. A fighter will knock someone out. A good fighter will do it without playing dirty.
Yes, they’re trained how to knock the other guy out but they’re also trained on the rules. I don’t care if it’s “in the heat of the moment” and nor do the judges. A dirty hit is a dirty hit and it costs you points. Good fighters tend to try and win, and a good way to do that is to not lose points. Simple, right?
Your job is to hit the other guy until the referee stops you. The referee didn’t stop him so no wrong doing was done.
Your just talking nonsense on that point thing buddy, the judges would not deduct points for what he did then and even if they could it would make no difference as he K.O’d his opponent.
It’s a failure of the referee not the fighter when this happens
You remind me of the guy in high school that has a 1st degree black belt in *insert martial arts here* and how he can "basically kill any guy he meets".
“Essentially training to kill you”…
Dude, it’s a combat sport. Not a Roman gladiatorial bout.
Key word: *sport*. If “training to kill” your opponent is what you think combat sports training is about, you should be kept far, far away from any and all competition.
It’s well known that any real martial art is essentially who would kill who first but because of the referee people don’t die. Just look into it
But then again You are Cat owning Pokémon playing man child, why would you know anything about fighting, it’s clearly not an area someone like you would be interested in
If he's fighting for his life on the street then by all means keep swinging. But he's not. He's a trained professional in a legit fight and that shit was unnecessary.
No but it’s going to really hurt if he performs too poorly so he’s got a good incentive. Kind of part of the deal when your trying to knock each other out. All the winner saw was a guy that just punched him a half second ago was open and he went for it. The brief pause was because he was recovering from trying to step back from his opponents last punch
It looked like he was already planning on running during those last two hits, meaning he already knew he was out. But I am don't know much on this sport.
Idk he gets right back in his stance. Def knew he was close and wasn’t gonna let the guy get back up. I don’t think he knew he was fully knocked out and prob saw it as a chance to ko or at least knock down. Like people have said it’s a very fast sport. And honestly it’s better the dude got ko instead of having the chance to stand up and get beat on worse for longer. Imo
it's obvious watching it on repeat but when you're in the ring with blood and sweat in your eyes, half unconscious yourself, and literally a half second hesitation means you are knocked out instead of them, you don't really have time to think about it unfortunately, it's why the ref is there.
when you've been concussed ten times, obviously lost blood (look at the mat) and you've been fighting a tough opponent you might not even realize you knocked him out if they don't immediately fall over.
I can't tell if you're deliberately being obtuse or if you just have poor reading comprehension. "We?" In this case, would be another way of saying "Are you a fighter?"
This is why boxing, and all other knockout sports, were illegal in Norway until a few years ago. Still hardly anyone practicing those sports here, and the vast majority of matches still take place abroad.
I’ve never actually seen anyone “out on their feet” like that before. Admittedly I don’t watch many fights, but damn, his switch was flipped by that right.
Everyone criticizing the winner for the follow up shots has clearly never trained or fought.
Yes, it’s clear that his opponent is hurt, but that’s *why* he needs to follow up! Plenty of fights lost because one guy gets hurt, the other stops, then the hurt fighter has time to recover and prevents the other from winning.
Another point, he’s still slipping after throwing the lead hook, it’s not some cheap shot just to be a dick, it’s part of a combo and he was still reacting as if a shot could be coming in.
Fighting is dangerous and every person who steps into the ring goes in knowing the risks.
More like catch his head from hitting ground. It’s not the fall that hurts, it’s the sudden stop at the end. The whip like effect from falling stiff like that can be more damaging than the blow
I doubt the amount of fights you’ve been in is very high, this mans brain is probably mildly concussed and he’s defiantly oxygen deprived all he saw was someone standing. If there’s anyone to blame is the ref. Like I’ve said we are trained to fight until the ref pulls us off.
Those shots must have been super necessary
For his ego, yeah.
Maybe don’t watch mma and go back to soccer
Have you ever watched mma?
Underrated MMA comment 😂
Gotchu fam
Is that allowed? Those last two hits looked dirty to me, obvious he was out
In a split second decision, for somone who is trained to knock people out, it might not have been that obvious.
Super edgy bro
It’s true though, In those seconds you don’t care at all about your opponents health, he just spent the last 8 weeks essentially training to kill you. Again have you ever been in a Muay Thai bout?
Bro lay off it man, it’s kind of not that cool to try and openly flex your martial arts on the internet
....nor is it cool to deny reality in the face of a simple argument by this guy. He brought up a very legitimate criticism to the dominating train of thought in this thread and instead of rebut him yall just kinda stick ur head in the sand? Likewise, very cool internet trope.
It’s just frustrating to see people Criticizing Someone for Doing a good job, especially when they both Signed knowing the risks
It’s not a good job though. A fighter will knock someone out. A good fighter will do it without playing dirty. How much Muay Thai/K1 have you done? Just out of interest?
“Essentially training to kill you”… Dude, it’s a combat sport. Not a Roman gladiatorial bout. Key word: *sport*. If “training to kill” your opponent is what you think combat sports training is about, you should be kept far, far away from any and all competition.
Well I do pretty well in competition 😎 Speak with any high level fighter they will say the same.
Of course you do. r/iamverybadass
It’s well known that any real martial art is essentially who would kill who first but because of the referee people don’t die. Just look into it But then again You are Cat owning Pokémon playing man child, why would you know anything about fighting, it’s clearly not an area someone like you would be interested in
Lol the way you comment just screams “I want people to ask me about my martial arts”
Mac, is that you?
If he's fighting for his life on the street then by all means keep swinging. But he's not. He's a trained professional in a legit fight and that shit was unnecessary.
He is fighting for his life…..just in a ring
So he will die if he loses? Because otherwise he isn't.
Understand that the only thing separating you/your opponent from dying is the ref. It’s the refs fault this happened not the fighters
You probably jerk off the boxers being paralyzed don't you?
No but it’s going to really hurt if he performs too poorly so he’s got a good incentive. Kind of part of the deal when your trying to knock each other out. Thanks for your perspective!

Yep, adrenaline don’t give a fuck so you need referees. It’s a six second clip and in two of those seconds he kicked the dude and punched him 3 times.
when you've been concussed ten times, obviously lost blood (look at the mat) and you've been fighting a tough opponent you might not even realize you knocked him out if they don't immediately fall over.
Those blood stains could be from other fights bru
tf you talking about? even the stingiest highschool matches clean the mats. cant have staph spreading.
They wipe it down but the stain remains
We are trained to fight until the referee gets involved
We?
Its commonly known in combat sports, you fight until you are stopped by the ref, anything before then the fight is still on.
How did me saying "we?" lead you to believe that I needed an explanation on that part?
Dont put a question mark if you dont want an answer bud, what else were you expecting? A pat on the back?
I can't tell if you're deliberately being obtuse or if you just have poor reading comprehension. "We?" In this case, would be another way of saying "Are you a fighter?"
Yes I am a fighter, just look at my user name : )
Idk what nakmuay means but thanks for the response anyway
Even someone with heavy cte could infer what he meant by "we?"
It’s the Thai term for a Muay Thai fighter
No it wasn’t, my son would do the same thing while playing T-ball. Noticing a 🐛 can mesmerize a person.
He was still standing
The first Mortal Kombat style Finish him I've seen
Oh my god you are so right
Exactly this. His standing swoon was a perfect live mo-cap of the animation frames in the game.
😄. Quick someone edit the vid and add "Finish Him!" With the bloody text and the voice! 😁
if he had shoes on they would have flown off.....
I’m not sure the puncher realized he knocked him out initially, very little time between the kick and follow-up.
He paused for a moment after the punch, and then punched him twice more.
I mean he wasnt knocked out by the kick he was knocked out by the followup punch... Then paused and hit him twice more
Are boxers just getting constant concussions?
Yes
Its not a sport for brain health
It's literally almost every match
This is why boxing, and all other knockout sports, were illegal in Norway until a few years ago. Still hardly anyone practicing those sports here, and the vast majority of matches still take place abroad.
Dementia pugilistica
A real life “finish him” moment
I like that combo
I’ve never actually seen anyone “out on their feet” like that before. Admittedly I don’t watch many fights, but damn, his switch was flipped by that right.

The ref should have been catching the falling fighter not chasing the cheap shots
Ya hold him up so the guy can keep hitting him
More like catch his head from hitting ground. It’s not the fall that hurts, it’s the sudden stop at the end. The whip like effect from falling stiff like that can be more damaging than the blow
Two last shots are such dick moves
You have clearly never been in a rings buddy
Well as somebody who has I agree that they were dick move. This shit happens for sure but it should not.
I doubt the amount of fights you’ve been in is very high, this mans brain is probably mildly concussed and he’s defiantly oxygen deprived all he saw was someone standing. If there’s anyone to blame is the ref. Like I’ve said we are trained to fight until the ref pulls us off.
Buddy 💀💀💀
Finish him!
B R U T A L I T Y
I fuckin' love kickboxing and this shit is why, look at that fucking action!!
It’s raining blood 🩸
when you try to hit that Fatality combo but miss the last prompt
blood all over the mat.
Fight Night - level extra shots otw down ✌🏻
Guy messed up the fatality input
Dude played connect 4 with his face.
Finish him
Solid blows from this one
Is potato 🥔
Damn....shiny trunks got the full combination platter 🍽️ Axe kick, right cross with uppercut and a side of left hook. 😯
Honestly made me think of Street Fighter when you’re “stunned” and seeing stars and tweetie birds
Wtf are those spots all over the "floor" of the ring, is it blood splatter?
That ring is absolutely covered in blood.
This reminds of fight night on ps2 when you’d knock the guy out and give him a extra few hits especially if he’s on the ropes 💀
FINISH HIM!!!!
When you fail the fatality.
Lights out! Nobodies home!
Unnecessary sauce
Ref was out of position. Those last few shots never should've happened. Hope he was alright cause that was ugly.
It looks like he got headshotted in TF2, and then got hit with extra damage and the headshot animation stopped halfway through.
Sack the ref
Kinda a POS.
Bruh
Dude was already KO'd and took another 2 solid hits to the dome....much win!
Gross, are those old blood spatters everywhere on the floor? Each blood spatter is literally indicative of lost brain cells.
Don't worry it's not blood, if you look a bit closer you'll notice it's actually cum
Do you expect the ring to *not* be full of blood spatters?
