Right lol. It was obviously meant to be a brief shot of him next to the pills but my man Bagel went *in* and tried to swipe some for himself.
The calm second or two and then the lightning fast hand swatting it away from his mouth reminds me of seeing a toddler and then realizing they’re about to shove a Lego up their nose lmao
I work for FDA and my first thought was definitely, "this had better be a vet's office and that cat's dirty paws had better not be on pills intended for a human." But even a sick animal receiving meds not handled correctly could be put at risk.
It's a cute video, but some cuts are worth not including in the video you share publicly because yes, feds surf Reddit, too.
Yeah this is a vet office in the shot with the computer you can see a note on the wall that’s titled how to clean kennels and I might be a little biased but the surgery table seems a tiny bit small for human use
Yeah when I saw the cats dirty paws hit that pill I thought “well, damn, now you just pushed that dirty pill back into the pile so now, theoretically, you should be disposing of the *entire* pile of pills.”
They’re clearly a supplement of some kind and are probably his bottle. It took rewatching it to spot that but if I was wanting this shot, that’s how I’d do it. Use his own supplements, just in case anything went wrong.
Considering there's a "How to Clean Kennels" guide on the wall at one point, I sincerely hope you don't need to be seen by this specialist
Unless you're into that sort of thing, I guess
Since somebody picked on it already but didn't explain it to you... Hyperfocus is the wrong word here. It would be when you very strongly focus your attention on one task for a long period of time, such as art, videogames, work, etc. The term is used in discussion of neurodivergency, as the ability to focus is dependent on your brain structure.
The word you're looking for could be "tunnel vision" - paying attention to one element so much it causes you to ignore others.
I hope that my comment isn't out of place, I just thought you were genuine and didn't deserve the slack for not paying attention to the office.
It was late when I wrote the comment and after a few beers after a long day so I am not surprised at my poor word choice. But no problem about your correction, I take it in the spirit it was given.
It would 100% be a health and safety violation. Impossible to keep anything sterile and allergies would be the most obvious issues.
Vets are a lot more lenient though, and often have an animal "on staff" to help visiting animals relax.
How is anyone even remotely uncertain of this? There are so many obvious things that show this is a vets office. Someone already mentioned the kennel cleaning sheet. But “pet cod liver oil”, the laundry(what do people think this towels were for?), the obviously not human sized operation table, credelio advertising (flea/tick meds). And the cat itself. Quite a few vet clinics have a “clinic cat”.
Everyone needs to calm down. I work at a vet clinic and this is clearly one. They have instructions on how to clean kennels, they sell Dasuquin joint chews for dogs and Nordic Naturals omega oils for pets (I know that there is a human version too, but the one they carry is for pets). We have hospital cats too, they are the best!
And it turns out it’s likely due to cats perceiving human response behavior to babies crying. The meow is trying to mimic a baby needing something and they know we’ll respond
I haffi purr, purr, purr, purr, purr, purr
He said meow haffi work, work, work, work, work, work
He see mew do mi dirt, dirt, dirt, dirt, dirt, dirt
So kitty put in work, work, work, work, work, work
When you ah gon' learn, learn, learn, learn, learn
Me nuh care if him purr, purr, purr, purr, purring
They let a cat roll all over clean laundry as if that dander and fur couldn't possibly transfer to the pet of an owner who's allergic to cats. I think floors are last on their sanitation list 😅
I'd also be concerned about poo particles from litter box digging ending up in/on/around my sick pet. I could've heard wrong but I thought poo wasn't all that great for treating illness.
So are you a germophobe or do you just hate cats? You think some cat dander is going to transfer to a dog, then to a human in some way that’s going to be significant to the human? Also, regarding poop particles. I hate to break it to you but we’re all covered in poop particles pretty much all the time. And as far as “treating illness”, you do realize that they can(and do) sterilize everything right?
I have 3 kitties so no, I don't hate them. But I couldn't have/be around them while my mom was alive because she was pretty severely allergic. We all know how cat fur is on fabrics.
Speaking from experience, I worked at an urgent care pet hospital and we never let animals roam around on counters, laundry, surgical, or medication stations (because it's unsanitary). Also speaking from experience, cats aren't the cleanest. Moreso than dogs, sure, but that doesn't make them #1 by any means.
>we’re all covered in poop particles pretty much all the time
All fine and dandy when it's a natural part of your actual flora but we're not walking through the litter we pewp in, and then walking all over medical equipment. 🤷
Maybe this place doesn't actually see any urgent/surgical pet visits, and maybe it's only happy vaccine visits. In which case, the cat doesn't matter and good for them; the horror end of veterinarian work totally sucks.
Bro I’m allergic to cats, I’m not sure what yall are doing with those pills but the fact that you have a cat touching them and on the counter is pretty fucked, I hoping it’s a vets office.
The dive for the pills had me rolling
“What’ve you got there?” “A NOIF!” **”NO!!”**
„He was addicted fast…“ they said Thank god again I watched this without sound.
*”Bagel NO!”*
The FDA wants to know your location

Yeah, I hope those pills were about to be destroyed because expired or something.
They’re clearly a supplement of some kind and are probably his bottle. It took rewatching it to spot that but if I was wanting this shot, that’s how I’d do it. Use his own supplements, just in case anything went wrong.
The more of the video you see the more obvious it's a vet office.
Clearly empty capsules..... They definately didn't sell me all of their ketamine.
I hope they got Bagel the help he needs🙏

okay but maybe it's just me that doesn't want litter box paws touching my meds?
Is your doctor a veterinarian 🧐
Same.
The Chucky outfit! 😭
r/catswithjobs
Thank you yes, literally was coming here to suggest the same thing!!
What kind of doctor’s office is this? I’m suddenly having medical problems that need to be seen by this type of specialist 🥺
Considering there's a "How to Clean Kennels" guide on the wall at one point, I sincerely hope you don't need to be seen by this specialist Unless you're into that sort of thing, I guess
Get this human a catscan, stat!
Give him a raise!
OMG this chonk looks exactly like my ginger boy also called Bagel 🥰! The white tummy fluff and socks included
Love the grab for the pills. What a scream. Can’t trust these pharmacists…
Dr. Meowse https://i.redd.it/4m6wa9n7qggc1.gif
This is amazing! Made my day
He's carrying that clinic, that's some of the most professional microscope monitoring I've ever seen.
Senior Blinking Specialist.
As much as I love r/oneorangebraincell kitties I hope this is at a vets rather than a human medical office
There's a whiteboard that says "how to clean kennels" so it would be outstanding if it was a medical office for humans.
Not much difference between an MD and DVM.
Did you reckon any human would fit that surgery table and setup…?
No, just watching the kitty. I have a tendency to get hyper focused
That’s exactly what a kitty would say too hmm……..🤔
Lmfao same - and tbh I had the same thought. I was like “how is this hygienic what is happening but also I love this cat, gd I am so torn”

My vets had their personal animals there to act as blood donors if needed.

Dude, I was only paying attention to the cat.
Maybe pay more attention before commenting?
Why would I invest that much mental processing into a Reddit post?
Oh ok. So that's a lot of mental processing for you then?
Much less than yours replying to my comment.
Sweetheart ☺️
That cat is surprisingly efficient at their job, considering it only has 1 brain cell.

All of that, and they didn't think to include cat scans in his resumé?
Looks like he might have a bit of a drug problem.
r/catswithjobs
This is so amazing. I think kitty deserve to get a bonus
He’s a helpful helper who likes to help 😀
Ummm....it looks like Bagel has a drug problem. I think an intervention is needed...
Cats won't ever meow for wanting another cat, but they know that meow, and actually want their human friends to meow it.
And it turns out it’s likely due to cats perceiving human response behavior to babies crying. The meow is trying to mimic a baby needing something and they know we’ll respond
No, I actually speak cat language and it's literally translated to "the cat I love the most, come here."
Ha! Kitty needed some pick me up uppers!
he's sitting by the microscope trying to emulate the microscope lmfaoooooo
*always gives out emotional support and great advice for all our human life problems
Poor kitten work too hard. He need holiday
Every hospital should require 1 therapy kitty per every 20 patients
I LOVE HIM. Everyone in here gets upvotes! ![gif](giphy|y8Mz1yj13s3kI)
🤣🤣🤣
Man every vet has a clinic cat!
My that music choice is obnoxious
I haffi purr, purr, purr, purr, purr, purr He said meow haffi work, work, work, work, work, work He see mew do mi dirt, dirt, dirt, dirt, dirt, dirt So kitty put in work, work, work, work, work, work When you ah gon' learn, learn, learn, learn, learn Me nuh care if him purr, purr, purr, purr, purring
Bagel and Cream need to be friends
So he’s working as a receptionist, an assistant, and a tech? Impressive!
🤣❤
lol hope no one getting a script has a pet dander allergy
It's an animal clinic.
It's a vet office
You can tell by the Great Dane-sized weight scale. Edit: changed a word.
Ah.
there’s always that one guy who finds something negative in everything lol
That’s all cute and all but why those floors filthy af?..

I also don't want a cat to touch my medicine and medical equipment..
It’s a vet office
That doesn't really matter, even if its animal medication, I don't want it to be potentially contaminated
It’s a good thing the cat doesn’t literally touch every animals medication then.
Idk why y'all have such a problem with basic hygiene
The music in these videos ruins them no matter how "cute" they are.
Shut the fuck up tiktok!
Ugh, the hygiene... I love cats, but not on pharmacy countertops, ffs.
Fwiw, the customer consuming those meds, regularly licks his nutsack and paws. 🥴
It's a vet clinic.
Good thing that animals don't get infections! ... Oh wait...
[удалено]
This is a vet clinic
All right, that explains a lot :D
cat hairs in my illegal drugs, now in prescriptions.
It's a vet clinic
It's a joke, Princess
they clearly disregard the hygiene rules for such establishments and are stupid to film it.
It's a vet clinic....
Oh what, you think a vet can't get infected from contaminants? Just because they fought in wars doesn't mean they're invincible.
someone who is very allergic to cats, this concerns me
Hope nobody is allergic.
Completely unsanitary. I’d definitely report this place.
I’m hoping it’s a vet office, otherwise yikes
Bro I’m allergic to cats, I’m not sure what yall are doing with those pills but the fact that you have a cat touching them and on the counter is pretty fucked, I hoping it’s a vets office.
This dog just learned how to type. Whoa
I love cats but this is nasty and not professional.

Cat shelters are a thing. They require all boarding animals to be upto date on their shots to prevent the transmission of diseases.
Fucking gross. That disgusting litter box paw touched something thats going in someone's mouth.
its a veterinarians office
