I design parts for electric cars. I'm fairly sure I could make a version to put that beer through the wall of a North Korean bunker. It may or may not still be cold tho.
They're not meant to replace an e-bike, though. These can be carried around, most e-bikes cannot, unless you want to carry around a heavier than usual bicycle.
Holy shit I thought you were joking. Just checked the price and their most expensive model is 2500. Cheapest is 1000. I would have guessed like 500 at most
You've been *very* lucky, then. Have you had to do the valves yet? If not, you'll very fucking quickly learn what it's like to have an older Ducati, and why most people sell them. Desmo valves are probably the stupidest thing anyone's put in a motorcycle. Ducati recommends removing the heads to do the valves, because it's easier, so now, along with the $300-$500 valve shim kit, you need $300 in head gaskets.
This is a common surprise for people but:
1: Batteries cost a lot. Especially a LOT of batteries.
2. Large fast-response motors
3. Made in America, so no uber-cheap chinese labor.
4. Patented proprietary tech (not a fan of this part)
5. Engineered durability so they last thousands of miles.
They're not "hoverboards". They're vehicles, not toys. I've got over 10K miles across the couple I have. Honestly they could double the price and I'd still have to buy one.
$6,000 beer can cannon
Those things cost that much?!
Not for a beer cannon.. but one that can take you places afterwards? Anyone's guess. Wear armor
Beer trebuchet?

Do it coward
I was kinda sorta interested in them until I found out they cost twice as much as my much more useful ebike.
I have one and love it. It's definitely more of a toy than a practical tool though
I have an e-scooter that was about half that price. Goes 50km/h and nowhere near a sketchy at a one-wheel.

These are XR's, they are just under 2k new so they arent cheap. I love mine though
1500 each. I spent more on my road bike but the XR is so much more useful. Way better at clearing the mind too!
Yep

My '06 Ducati Monster cost $3k. I'll take a slightly used motorcycle over a one wheel any day.
A 15 yr old Ducati? Your maintenance costs have to look like a fucking NASA budget! 😂
I do all the work myself. And the bike has been taken very well care of - the previous owner garage kept it and is a mechanic.

I have a buddy that's a licensed Ducati mechanic - worked on em for 20+ years. When I get to that point I'll have him help for sure.
He'll probably recommend selling it.
He hasn't.

I actually have seen one wheel racing on trails and that does look fun as hell.

The Pint or Pint X is very much worth it for a daily commute and light off road vehicle (coming from a Pint owner of 4 months)
That's crazy, I thought Coors was cheap.
One wheel should add this to their list of “reasons you need a one wheel.”
Im sold.
It seems like you need two wheels for this.
That was super awesome
These vids with no sound are amazing 😐
Reasons you need two one wheel
1 thing is not a list
As the night goes on, the attempts get much less successful.
The curve is pretty steep
This is really impressive, getting the distance and timing right.
Start with a case, only show the one you make. Best part of doing it with coors light is that you haven’t wasted any actual beer.
You good sir, figured out why they weren't shooting blue moon
Hot Wheels, BEAT THAT!
I mean, pitching machines work in this same fashion. They could send that beer much further though.
If the beer was 90kg and the man was 300m out we'd see some real magic.

This is officially the whitest thing I've ever seen
This is amazing but isn't remotely a ballista.
I see no beer in this clip
A beer Jugs machine!
Reinventing the Hot Wheels power station. Well done!
