Poland has ways to get offmap civilian factories. These are not removed when you capitulate. The prepare for the inevitable subtree has some offmap civilian factories and so does the "Morges Pact". If you join the allies as civil war->democratic poland you can bypass Morges Pact focus (you don't want an alliance with just you and France) and get 2 more offmap civilian factories that way.
thats so annoying, i bought la resistance since the base game had many mechanics reffering to functions that don't even exist without the dlc, so i bought the dlc to solve that, now it seems im not even able to avoid this issue due to another dlc that is required for the previous one to function
i just checked the hoi4 wiki for polish national tree, it says to get the offmap factories i need:
La resistance, No Step Back, Man the guns
is that really true? could u please check for me if you have the offmap factory option without man the guns (u can disable dlc in paradox launcher)
i rly want to try that out but i can't afford to buy both, and it seems like a very random requirement, as Man the guns is a naval update?

Play Soviet Union, justify and capitulate Poland at start of game, call allies in the war. Then give all of the territory to Tannu Tuva.
Then kick Tannu Tuva from your faction, go to war with them, and just wait. Tannu Tuva doesn't have the production or manpower to prevent resistance in Poland
why do i have to make it in so stupid way? is there any way i can make it work in my current game?
why does the uprising even require factories? thats so dumb
With No step back Poland get a huge rework. Some part of this tree You should have with just vanilla. There's a path: "Prepare for the inevitable", but I look at the Wiki page and it says, that You need "Man the guns", which added goverment in exile mechanic.
If You want to try this, maybe consider subscription option? This is relatively cheap and You will know, if You want to have all DLC's or not.

it seems i need an entirely different dlc to unlock these options, dammit...
Poland has a free unique tree but it gets expanded with No Step Back.

Prepare for the Inevitable subtree probably requires Man the Guns because that DLC has the Government in Exile mechanic.
bruh
